The staff was extremely warm and welcoming, and the breakfast had the most variety of high quality items that I've ever had (and loved the unlimited barista coffee that came with it!). "We are a couple visiting from Canada. We liked this small hotel. Nice outdoor space. Neighbourhood hotel away from the tourist congestion. Shuttle to the metro so you can get anywhere. 15 min walk to restaurants and shops. Didn’t have a great checkin experience. We booked a deluxe room. We were put into a 1 st story room at the back facing the dumpsters. When I told them the room description said City or Garden view they moved us. They said we could only get a 1st floor room. The view from the room we ended up with was okay. View was partially blocked by an elevator shaft. Inside the room was nice. I have never experienced this type of floor restriction before. Not sure if it was communication error or if it was because it was booked through Expedia. My experience has been deluxe room is better than standard and a higher floor. Having said all this I would recommend this hotel and using Expedia to book it."

"I've been to Rome many times and the staff here have to be the nicest, friendliest and most helpful team I have ever come across in all of Italy. We stayed in one of the Annex buildings which was right near the Spanish Steps. Great location. Beautiful very large room with a large newly renovated ensuite with double shower and double sink vanity. Upmarket room. Our bags were taken and collected from our room back to the main hotel entrance and a luxury car ordered to take us to the port. We could not have been happier. 10 out of 10. Will stay here again next time we come back."

"Centrally located, easy to get a taxi. Close to station and metro. Rooms a good size. Hotel was on main street so noise from road and restaurants and pubs were loud along with noise from corridor. Bathroom well appointed but tub shower combo with taps in the way are not ideal especially in slippery bath that took ages to drain and the tiled floor that was slippery when wet They need to upgrade their mattress's they had dips in them and you just sank into them and hard as concrete. We had breakfast included and only once was any of it warm, nothing worse than cold bacon and scrambled eggs. The hotel is nicely decorated as it is old, but the rooms need updating along with the need to charge electronics, only 1 usb port and that stopped working after a day. The hilight were the finches in the garden watching them cleaning up after breakfast, they obviously don't mind cold food."
