Cozy, Romantic Cottage just 3 minutes from the village of Mendocino!

The Larkin Cottage is nestled amongst redwood trees just 3 minutes from the village of Mendocino. It is on the same property as the live-in owner's main residence. The cottage includes all the amenities of home. The kitchen is furnished with ample dishes and pots and pans should you decide not to enjoy the many wonderful restaurants in the area. A gas BBQ is located on the deck. The living room is equipped with a flat screen TV, DISH high definition service, WiFi, blue tooth dock for music on your phone or tablet, DVD player, and a DVD library of movies filmed in the area. The bedroom features a queen size Sleep Number bed outfitted in luxurious linens including a down comforter and plenty of fluffy pillows. Waiting for you outside are porch rockers, a private hot tub, and lush gardens.

The Larkin Cottage property is abundant with beautiful flowers. Care has been taken to make sure that something is blooming every month of the year. The gazebo is a perfect spot for a small wedding.

PLEASE NOTE: Cal Trans has removed the trees on the west side of the property due to bridge construction. This construction can create noise during the day. The estimated completion date is Fall of 2025.

The cottage is perfect for a couple. Nice view of the ocean, and the hot tub was a nice treat. Linda was very nice and offered great recommendations and advice. Would definitely stay again!

Sweet cottage

This is a great getaway for two, yet so close to town and the ocean. With the kitchen, hot tub and deck, it’s hard to beat this place. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.

Peaceful, restful place

Quaint little cottage to get away and read, rest, reflect. Perfect location close to Mendocino town, but far enough away for quiet seclude. Fully stocked kitchen, just bring your own food for cooking! No need to leave if you're looking for complete solitude.

Larkin cottage was immaculate, well appointed and cozy! My favorites, sparkling clean hot tub, small but well stocked kitchen, cozy bed, electric fireplace, welcome basket filled with yumminess .

The Larkin Cottage

The property was beautiful. Flowers all around the property were blooming. Hot tub was clean and warm. TV access worked great and it just happened to be the same channels we use at home. There was a generous goodie basket for us with coffee, wine and other goodies. The furniture and bedding were warm and cozy. We had a great visit. Thank you Linda for being a great host.

Very nice. Cozy. We liked having hot tub and fireplace. Bed was comfortable. We were at cottage during some rainy weather. One suggestion would be to put two hooks to right of kitchen door to hang up raincoats. Also, appreciated the gas grill and beautiful flowers

Perfect Place

Location very close to town, everything in cottage was above expecations, the grounds were beautiful, the hot tub is right off the deck close to door and works great, the fireplace is awesome, the bed is quality, the place is super clean, lots of tv stations, strong wifi signal, all the dishes and kitchen stuff you need. Go and enjoy it.

Heavenly - the pics don't do it justice

Totally private, super will equipped kitchen, cozy fireplace, hot tub very very good bed & killer BBQ grill. We loved it and we will be back. I forgot my cell phone and Linda is so kind in mailing it back to me.
