This is an absolute wonderful location. Even though it is located downtown, you would never know. It is so quiet, relaxing, and the owners did amazing! We will be booking here in Sept!
Our stay was lovely and the place was very clean. They thought of everything from a small refrigerator to a coffee pot. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was a nice size. We highly recommend this VRBO and will stay at again if ever in the area again. The host was very nice and communicated quickly to any questions we had. 10/10

We needed a place to stay for one night. This property was far above any hotel room we could have found. The Farmhouse building is about the size of a nice bedroom and bathroom. It does have only a queen size bed which I did not see listed in any of the descriptions. But we were gifted with chocolate chip cookies. Yum! The grounds are beautiful with flowers and even chickens. It is very quiet and in a beautiful area of town. The whole property would be a good place for a family reunion or a gathering of friends. We make a yearly trek to Mena and plan to add this to our itinerary.
We stayed 1 night in this unit at the historic Shaver House in Mena, AR. It was super cute and great for a 1-night stay. The chocolate chip cookies were delicious - especially warmed up a little in the microwave! The unit is in a shed-type building in the backyard of this restored historic home. It is essentially a bedroom (with a microwave, minifridge, coffeemaker and TV) and a bathroom. There is not a lot of room to move around inside the shed. The outside area is fantastic - a big fire pit, seating, and hammocks. But I think it is a stretch to describe this unit as a "farmhouse cottage".
The property is super cute. When we got to the property we were walking through many other cabins/bungalows and the path led us to a large shed. I was a little concerned because I didn't think we had reserved a shed and at first thought, "Oh no, I can't stay in a shed." But then, we opened the door and it was awesome! It was so cute and cozy, like a tiny house and didn't feel at all like you were in a shed. I was so shocked you could fit so much inside! It was done up very nicely inside - with background music playing and cookies! The bed was super comfortable as well! It made us consider building one on our property for family and guests! There was a large fire pit area and ax throwing right outside. I can imagine it would be lively in the summer. There is also a good steakhouse down the street and some beautiful churches in the neighborhood. We would've been happy to stay more than the one night we reserved and will be more than happy to stay there again.
We had a great stay. Property owners provided great direction and information for the area.

Cozy cottage nestled behind a beautiful historic mansion. Gardens are are lovingly cared for. Room is tidy and welcoming. Fresh cookies were a welcome site after long roadtrip. Drove into town —only about 2 miles— for dinner at a nice Italian restaurant.
