Bed and Breakfast in Melton Mowbray

"The staff, and locals made me feel so welcome. I stayed overnight for business and was perfect. As a single female I was doubtful, but wow I was blown away with the kindness of all. Room was spacious, comfy bed, bedroom and bathroom was spotless. I would definitely stay again. Car park is safe. They are also dog friendly which in my eyes is 10 out of 10. The food arrived piping hot, and home cooked. "

"The property did provide limited car parking which was useful. Maybe next time though I should read the entry better as this isnt a Bed and Breakfast (B&B as stated clearly in the title). They no longer provide breakfasts which was slightly inconvenient especially as there was no kettle in the room. "

"Welcome was friendly & very helpful. Building quaint. Very clean. Some nice wee touches. No food available. Basic amenities in room lacking - no bin in bathroom, bed sagging at one side, lack of sockets, unable to get shower to work - no one in property in morning to ask for help. Noise from bar until midnight - could hear conversations, music & pool being played. "

"The only criticism I could make is that I personally would appreciate the breakfast to be available earlier (08.00 rather than 08.30). apart from that the stay was very good"

"Susan is an excellent host. Unobtrusive, but there when needed and nothing is too much trouble. She also provides an excellent and varied breakfast. Although in the middle of the village, the property is private and secure. Our room was comfortable and lacked nothing. It was also warm as the temperature dropped below freezing outside. Thoroughly recommended. "

"The pillow cases and duvet covers smell so bad. Nobody cares if you are sleeping or not because someone was playing music at 1am and there is another guy making calls and running up and down the house 2am. "
