Communication was a challenge. The booking was made in September, and we did not receive any communication or responses until after contacting VRBO support on the day of arrival. They were able to reach the host and we then received the lockbox check-in instructions about six hours before check-in.The house itself is spacious and includes a washer and dryer, but overall the property appeared poorly maintained and not well prepared for guests. Several fixtures and cabinet drawers were broken or difficult to use, and cleanliness was inconsistent with visible grime in parts of the kitchen. Basic supplies were also lacking (no paper towels, napkins, tissues, or hair dryers), and kitchen utensils were very limited.The listing advertised air conditioning, but the home only had an evaporative cooling system which struggled to cool the house during hot weather. Upstairs temperatures remained extremely warm, making it difficult to sleep.There were also no instructions provided for appliances such as the washer, dryer, or cooling system.Overall, while the home has space and potential, the lack of preparation, maintenance issues, and difficult communication made this stay disappointing.
