This is not a private space. It is the upstairs of a house, the hosts use the downstairs. There is no lockable door between the two areas. The hosts stay behind a shut door, you walk up the stairs and the living room is at the landing of the stairs. It feels very open and not private. Each individual bedroom is lockable but this does not work if you have children as they may want to go to your room in the night. When we stayed, there was no top sheets, only half the pillows had pillow cases. There were no quilts/duvets on the beds, just blankets like you would generally find on a couch. The TV in the lounge room was not there. When we spoke to the host about this, he said that they would not come up the stairs, or use the downstairs area. We heard them using that area several times. He also said that the listing said there were blankets on the beds, and did not mention quilts. He did go and buy these overnight but we left after one night. Hopefully they are now on the beds. He said the TV was broken by the previous guest and would be fixed. We were told we should have read the description better.
