"The River Oak Bungalow" is a brand new 4BR/2.5BA exotic, lush, private estate nestled amongst winding oaks & palms directly on the Indian River Lagoon. Located in the Downtown Eau Gallie Arts District, you are only a short drive to the Beaches, FIT, & MLB Airport.

Bring your boat & enjoy a private 100' dock & riverfront sandbar recreation area, huge outdoor deck, spacious backyard, fire pit, tree swings, paddle boards, and kayaks.

The space
The BRAND NEW River Oak Bungalow is truly one of a kind, a rare property preserved with 250 year old winding oak trees and whispering palms. Our architect designed the home with 3 of the large oak trees soaring through the roof & walls, with hundreds of other native trees throughout the estate. This bungalow is immersed in abundant greenery, vines, pineapples, ferns, and countless hanging house plants. The expansive backyard measures nearly 200' long with room for family activities, games, or even a wedding!

This private estate features a 2,400 SF Single Family Home/Estate situated on a rare slice of paradise located on the Indian River Lagoon. There are 4 Bedrooms & 2.5 Bathrooms with abundant common areas to enjoy the brand new coastal modern charm. There are 3 patios/decks to choose from, with 1 being a private porch only accessible via master suite, the 2nd being a floating wood deck along the main entrance, and the 3rd being a massive 60' x 30' raised wood deck (1/2 covered & 1/2 open air) with seating to accommodate 12 at the outdoor dining table and chairs/couches for 12+ more.

Situated on the Indian River Lagoon, which is a saltwater lagoon offering countless watersport activities, dolphin tours, fishing, bioluminescence (Summer time), or just rest & relax on your 100' long raised dock in a hammock. The Indian River Lagoon is one of the most biodiverse estuaries in the Northern Hemisphere and is home to more than 4,300 species of plants and animals. The Lagoon contains five state parks, four federal wildlife refuges and a national seashore as well as countless waterfront restaurants & bars nearby. Don't want to leave the property? No problem, our guests can enjoy (2) standup paddleboards, (3) kayaks, snorkeling gear, bocce ball, and fishing all on property. Want to just relax? Enjoy the clear sand bottom lagoon on our private sandbar just a step down from the dock.

Boater's Paradise! Bring your boat or rent one! We have made special arrangements with 2 local marinas nearby to offer our bungalow guests a special discount upon reservation. The massive selection of boats will be sure to accomodate any number of guests, and any activities you desire! Wakeboarding, Surfing, Fishing, or just a relaxing sunset cruise...we highly recommend! The dock has capacity for up to 4 standard boats, as well as access to a private lift on property (upon request)...invite your friends too!

Family Friendly: The bungalow is the perfect vacation spot for your family or a group of families! Accomodations for all ages are available upon request (High chairs, strollers, car seats, toys/books, pack & plays, etc.) We are a young family of 4 (soon to be 5) so we got you covered! Additionally, the bungalow is plentiful in space & beds, sleeping 9 on beds, 3 on the couch. We will allow additional guests upon request and have blow up beds available as needed.

Sunset Vibes: After sunset, The River Oak Bungalow comes alive with color. With a curated landscape lighting design, the entire property is truly a spectacular vibe. Enjoy a bonfire by the water, a bbq on the deck, or relax in the hammock watching the stars...or if you are lucky, you can catch one of the rocket launches which are launching almost every week!

Guest access
Parking is abundant! Once you enter the estate, there is a gravel parking area for 4 vehicles and paved parking for an additional 8 vehicles or so. Be careful of the coquina rock lining the driveway...it's beautiful but your tires may not agree ;)

Enter the main front entrance down the winding floating wooden deck along the south side of the estate. Take notice of the amazing "Indian River Snook" Mural painted by a local artist, JDAV (Julie Davila with Flamingo Creative). Enjoy the scenery until you reach the front door at the end of the walk, with a smart lock keypad. A unique code will be provided prior to arrival. Want to arrive by boat? No problem, just follow your maps and you'll arrive at the private dock with beautiful solar lights to help guide at night.

Location, Location, Location - The River Oak Bungalow has the best of both worlds. Located in the City of Melbourne in booming brevard county, home to 180 miles of shoreline, world-class surfing, fishing, and watersports...you may be lucky enough to experience bioluminescence or a weekly rocket launch from the private dock viewing platform.

Beaches: Home to some of the top rated beaches in the USA, you are just a 5 minute quick drive over the bridge to Indialantic Beach. With tons of free public parks, bring your boards and learn how to surf! Or relax and enjoy sitting in one of the beach chairs we provide for our guests in the warm clear ocean water!

EGAD: The estate is uniquely situated in EGAD, the Eau Gallie Arts District which is one of the city's downtown areas. Just a short bike ride away, there are over 30 shops, restaurants, breweries, bars, and comedy clubs to enjoy. Looking for a mural artwalk coupled with a little bar hopping or a unique speakeasy, this is your spot.

Downtown Melbourne: Just a 5 minute drive, DTMB features over 60 restaurants, bars, shops, and activities along crane creek. Looking for a vibrant nightlife, this is your spot.
