We had a wonderful stay at the Hoddles Hideaway! The kids absolutely loved feeding the animals, it was such a great hands-on experience. The accommodation was very neat, tidy and extremely clean. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend!
We had such a nice time on the farm. The kids of all ages loved interacting with the animals and exploring the property. Kath was lovely to deal with and communication was great. Thank you for the great holiday!
We had a wondeful time staying at Hoddles Hideaway, our kids especially enjoying the farm animals, playing on the swings and running around the yard. The cottage is in a brilliant location and was very comfortable and clean. The kids are keen to return!
The most tranquil scenic property, very clean and comfortable accommodation with the best host! Absolutely loved our stay and highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with amazing views and spectacular sunsets ❤️ 12/10!
A fantastic property in an idyllic location. The cottage is very comfortable and well equipped (so nice for a holiday cottage to have condiments!). The location is perfect - great views, animals that the kids loved feeding and amazing views. We will return.
We really enjoyed our stay at hoddles hideaway! It was warm and cozy. We especially loved the cows, sheep and chickens. We were lucky enough to be given 6 freshly laid eggs for breakfast which was so nice.
Great piece of paradise. Away from it all in a very beautiful and peaceful setting. House was spotlessly clean with everything you would need or want.
Highly recommend this great property.
We didn't want to leave. The pure silence, the animals, wildlife and location was all bliss. The pink house is all you could need and then some. We can't wait to go back. A week went to quickly
What a gorgeous house and property. Everything we could have wanted was supplied and it was beautifully clean. Airconditioning in both bedrooms and the living area made our stay super comfortable. Communication was amazing and the owner checked we were ok after a storm. Thank you so much.
We stayed here for a long weekend & loved it. House was clean & bathrooms were renovated. So much wildlife! We had a koala in a tree right outside the house, beautiful birds, adorable wombats plus the cows, chickens, sheep & llamas that we were given seeds & pellets to feed.
We enjoyed our stay in the countryside. The location is stunning within both forested areas and farmland with a few cows, sheep and alpacas that are approachable and fun for our granddaughter to feed and pat. The views are beautiful and the house was comfortable with everything provided in two bedrooms. The birdlife is amazing and we watched a koala mother and baby in the trees behind the house. Magic!
Katharine's home was the most perfect way to feel cosy and super relaxed. With such beautiful surroundings of greenery and cows ( which my 2 year old loved) it was just what we needed. Kath was super quick to andwer and respond to any enquiries a
Home was clean and had everything we needed. Great hot tub and had an amazing sleep due to bed being so comfy. Loved the peace and quiet. This is the place to come if you want to reconnect with family or just be in the moment. There is no WiFi which wasn’t too bad as it allows you to switch of from your phone and enjoy what is right in front of you. Will definitely return again
The property was very much as advertised, had everything we needed and expected and was very comfortable. It's in a beautiful secluded location and had stunning sunset views in the evening. My Mum (visiting from overseas) loved the big eucalyptus trees and the kookaburras, and our little kids really enjoyed touring the farm and meeting the friendly animals. I also really appreciated the owner Kath's helpful and responsive answers to my various questions, thank you! It is good to keep in mind that the property is quite far away from shops and isolated, so come prepared and take care driving in the dark up the windy gravel road. Thanks again, we had a lovely time :)
We loved our week long stay at Hoddles. It is a lovely property and so peaceful. The animals and wildlife around the property make it a really unique experience.
The owners and farm manager are really helpful and friendly. Couldn't have been any better.
We would have happily stayed for longer. If you like nature and peace and quiet, this is the place to be. We fed the rescue animals (sheep, cows, chicks, alpacas) and also saw the Koala and so many birds.
We had the best week here - thank you!

Kath was a lovely host at this property, great communication in the lead up to the stay and also a really great suggestion for lunch in Gembrook on the way to the property from Melbourne. She also helped us to visit and feed the sheep, alpacas and pigs during our stay which our son absolutely loved.
The cottage is homely and has amazing views. It’s so peaceful and quiet. A long way from the shops and town but that’s exactly what we were after!
We would love to come back one day soon :)
We had an incredible Easter weekend getaway at the charming pink cottage in the midst of serene countryside. As a family of four, including two young children aged 5 and 3, it was the perfect escape from our busy routine. The spacious surroundings allowed our kids to frolic freely while we savored moments by the fire pit with a glass of wine. Our days were filled with delightful activities such as feeding the farm animals, leisurely walks, engaging board games, and indulgent BBQs for breakfast and dinner. Exploring the nearby waterfall, rainforest gallery, and quaint local cafes added to the adventure, alongside peaceful strolls through the bushes. The cottage itself was impeccably clean, and our hosts were readily available whenever we needed assistance. It truly was an unforgettable experience, and we're already looking forward to our next visit!
