    Gum Tree by Tiny Away is a peaceful tiny house retreat tucked beneath mature gum trees on a working 10-acre farm in Dixons Creek, just an hour from Melbourne. Surrounded by open paddocks, fresh country air, and birdsong, it offers an authentic taste of rural life, with guests welcome to help feed the horses and chickens—a simple experience that often becomes a trip highlight.



    Beyond the property, the Yarra Valley offers plenty to explore, including Go Wild Ballooning and Healesville Sanctuary. Meanwhile, nearby attractions such as Stag Lane Farm Distillery, Masons Falls, and Donnellys Weir Picnic Area make for easy and enjoyable day trips.



    This 139-square-foot tiny home features easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and gas-heated shower—making it a perfect choice among relaxing holiday homes.



    Guest Access:

    Guests will have access to the cozy tiny home and the surrounding back paddocks, where they can enjoy the open space, scenic views, and a walking trail leading into Kinglake National Forest.

    - For the safety of animals, please do not enter paddocks with horses, the chicken area, sheds, or other outbuildings. The main house, pool, and house yard are private and not accessible to guests.

    - Fire Pit & BBQ: Available on fire-safe days only. Not permitted during Total Fire Ban or fire restriction days.
