It is a bit more remote in location, but the views are completely worth it. The property had everything we could need, and was very accessible for backpackers with great bus routes right to the train stations. "What a cute little hidden gem! We loved every single thing about this little place. Sleeping with the windows open, hearing the school children’s chatter as they ran to the bus, the extremely welcoming host (who speaks German but does very well with Google translate), the breathtaking lake views, and all the amenities. Make sure you bring shampoo/conditioner/ bath soap and have $50 CHF for the cleaning fee when you check out."

"Wonderful rental! The host is very friendly. She picked us up from the train station when we arrived and also drove us to the station when we left. Brought a full breakfast to us every morning. The private bathroom is not in the rental, but not far. Very easy to access. It has a sink, 2 showers and a toilet. In the outside picture, If I ever visit Lungern again, I would stay here. Excellent experience!"
