"Quite a quirky little hotel with lots of charm in a stunning location. Off the beaten track, without Sat Nav it would be a challenge to find it. When you do it’s worth it. Second time we have been there, and will go again some time."

"Olde world building at the centre of the village. Very friendly staff and very clean room and communal areas. Very good breakfast. One of the staff booked a table in a near by restaurant, due to it being a Sunday and not many places open on a Sunday in France. Would I stay here again, a definite yes."

"An amazing place to stay with superb hosts (which felt like friends after 5 days). We liked the estate and our room (perfect for holidays or business trip), the garage (to keep the car “cold” during the hot days, the cleanlisness, the pool, breakfast .. Stephane helps you with advice on visits or makes dinner reservations (certainly try Les p’tites terrasses) Or you can eat in the vineyard with a bottle of wine."

"We wanted to have one chateau stay as a cap-stone event accommodation to our trip to France, and this exceeded our expectations. The price was extremely reasonable. We visited Chateau de Villandry, which is only 15 minutes away. The room was spectacular and the service is exceptional. The breakfast each morning was well worth the price, but the dinner was truly amazing. Without a doubt, this was our top dining experience in France, including wonderful meals in Paris, Bayeux and Brittany."

The Chef even made off-menu vegetarian meals for us, to ensure we had variety. The wonderful front office, restaurant and cleaning staff took our stay to the next level. We would like to especially thank Salomee for her guidance and advice. She made our stay extra-special. Although rated as 3 star, the hotel rivals the best hotels we have stayed in for personalized service and culinary delights. "
