Beach Hotels & Resorts in Megali Ammos

"Spacious villa, ample room/ furniture on the terrace, pool next door, beach/ sea across the road, supermarket also across the road. Everything for a good few days stay. Only niggle was the traffic noise from the road, at times, though not at night. Wifi available too. "

"Lovely small hotel in a great location easily walkable to Skiathos town. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and do everything they can to make your stay as good as possible. We were disappointed that the decor and condition of the property wasn't up to the standards of the photos on the website, which make the hotel come across as chic and modern - it has more of a boutique feel in reality, and was run down in places eg damaged furniture and mould on the grouting of the tiles. "The best place to stay on Skiathos! Room was wonderful, with comfortable beds, a well stocked kitchenette, and lovely balcony with a view of the sea. It was a 30 second walk to a beach with gorgeous turquoise water in addition to a 25 minute walk into town. I can’t say enough great things about the staff who not only were super helpful with the check in and transfer from the port to the hotel, but drove me back to the port for my early ferry when leaving. "Nice hotel close to the beach and town centre. Lovely staff too, very helpful. My only issue was the bed was so soft uncomfortable. The room was spotlessly clean when I arrived but the cleaner did minimum cleaning during my stay which wasn't a problem as the bed was always made and fresh sheets and towels. Overall a very nice hotel and exactly what I needed. Thanks "
