Learn more about Medjugorje

Pilgrims flock to Apparition Hill where the Virgin Mary reportedly appeared to six local children in 1981. Join daily masses at St. James Church or climb Cross Mountain for panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.

This statue is a site along a pilgrimage to an area were six children saw apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Silence is observed in the area for those who are called to prayer and reflection. From time to time, the statue "weeps" from the right knee.
