Nestled in a peaceful wooded neighborhood, this spacious retreat sleeps up to 12 guests, making it perfect for families and groups. Great Lake Haven has an open-concept layout with high ceilings and a loft overlooking the living area.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms

The master bedroom has a king-size bed for ultimate comfort. There's also a full bathroom with a tub and shower combination on the main level next to the master bedroom.

In the loft, you'll find two double beds and a queen-size bed.

The lower, walk-out level has two futon couches that convert into double beds. It also has a full bathroom with a walk-in shower.

Living Space and Kitchen

Great Lake Haven has a fully equipped kitchen that's perfect for cooking and gathering. The modern living room on the main floor is positioned for optimal viewing into the wooded backyard.

Outdoors

Relax on the furnished upper deck during your stay and enjoy a morning coffee or meal. We offer a grill, and there's a fire pit for s'mores and starry nights.

Beach Access

You may utilize our private association beach, which is a short 0.3-mile walk down the road, across Ridge Rd, you will find the path to the 79 stairs to access Lake Michigan.

For beach access without stairs, we recommend Mears State Park in Pentwater. It's 8 miles north of the house.

For boaters and kayakers, there's a launch 3.5 miles north on Pentwater Lake, which is accessible to Lake Michigan.

Perfect stay, great location

The location was perfect for being close to the dunes for riding yet a little out for some peace and quiet. House was fully stocked with everything we needed and plenty of room. The beach area was a short walk and very nice. Thanks!

Pineapple Pines was wonderful!

The house was super clean, had everything we needed for our family getaway and the fenced in yard was perfect for our dogs! Plenty of space for people to do separate things. Great communication with owner!

Fun weekend at Lake MI

Great communication w/ the host! She was very kind to adjust the check in time for us. Beach was beautiful! nice set up in back yard for having a fire. Plenty of space. We enjoyed our stay!

Dune weekend

Spent the weekend at the dunes and this house was a base. What an awesome & clean property! We were a little disappointed that we didn’t have much time to hang out at the house as we came for the dunes. House is very well furnished and felt very much like home. Definitely plan to come back. Host was very nice and responsive!

Beautiful woods, beautiful beach

This is a great house located in the woods on a dirt road. Very quiet, lots of deer. Although beach access is not on property, it is a short walk to stairs down to the most beautiful beach. Back yard had a nice bonfire pit and fenced yard if you have dogs. Inside was clean and comfortable. Basement was ruffed in but comfortable enough. I loved the shower downstairs with the stone floor. Could use a couple more rugs for warmth. Stephanie was always available for any questions or issues

Excellent stay

We absolutely loved this house. The deck is surrounded by trees and sitting out there was as relaxing as could be -- wonderful for reading and a cup of coffee in the morning. The house is walkable to a Lake Michigan beach, which we went to multiple times during our stay and loved it. Beware, however, if you have anyone in your group with mobility issues. There are about 70 or so steps leading down to the beach. Also beware when driving of the deer. There were many of them around the house. Communication with the owner was easy. We really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely rent this house again.

Long weekend

Stephanie was a responsive host and allowed an early check in. The house is nice, but the beach is about a half a mile away. Beach towels are provided! We stayed for 4 nights. If staying for longer we would have needed to bring our own paper towels, trash bags and toilet paper. There is a gas and charcoal grill. However, if you plan to use the gas grill there is NOT a propane tank provided so make sure you bring one!!! We did not find this out until after we arrived and the host does not provide one. We were a little disappointed because all of our meals were going to be cooked on the grill. Instead we bought a bag of charcoal. The dunes are about a 10 minute drive and a fun activity. We had a good time, but wish that the description of the house details would have been more clear.

Jeep Invasion 2025 girls weekend

Temps were a little chillier, but the bonfire pit kept us warm outside. Great sleeping areas and close to everything we needed. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

Nice to stay in a wooded area with fenced yard for our pet. Spacious and comfortable bedroom and living areas. Nice deck overlooking the yard. Short walk to the stairs leading to the beach.

More Michigan exploring

We enjoyed a week in the Mears/Pentwater area! Lots to do including wineries, pontoon boat rental and visiting Ludington for the first time... not to mention very close access to a pristine Lake Michigan beach... The house was well stocked with kitchen items for home cooking - great appliances and even storage containers for leftovers! Beds were comfortable if you like a firm mattress, but not a lot of privacy in the loft area. Back yard is smaller than it looks in the photos and neighbors are near but not too close. Basement was fun for game playing when it rained! Host was very responsive and helpful - would certainly recommend for those who want a balance of time at the house and time out and about!

Annual Lake Michigan trip

The cottage was everything described. Clean with all the amenities we needed. Close to the dunes and the lake. FYI there are approximately 74 steps to the private beach area with a rest area in between flights. We caught a couple sunsets and our kids took a few sunset dips in the lake.

Loved the area and two seperate livingspaces

Easy walk to the beach, nice fenced in yard for dogs(must be on chains because fence isnt dog proof). Be very careful where you allow yoir dogs if yoi bring them because there were old pet stains and dogs always want to pee over other dogs pee. Dont let them walk away from you. Our kids loved having the bottom floor to themselves. 40 minute drive to the hunting grounds mu husband likes.

Labor Day Stay

My daughter had her Bacherlorette weekend with her sister and 6 friends here. They said the place was perfect! Stephanie was so easy to get a hold of with any questions. The girls said the house was clean and stocked with everything they needed for their stay. They loved the setting, the close walk to the beach and enjoyed the local winery and the thrilling Mac Dune rides. They would definitely recommend this property and would 100% return for another fabulous stay! 5 stars all around! Thanks Stephanie!
