"This hotel is in the middle of a largely residential area but the rest of the island is easily accessible via Uber/Bolt taxis at very reasonable prices. We only had breakfast at the hotel which was very good with a full choice available. It is worthwhile walking around the districts adjoining the property where there are several villages wth small bars and restaurants . We found the local people to be very friendly. Many of the buildings are very historic and beautiful."

The hotel is right across the road from a bus terminus taking you into Valetta or anywhere else on the island. Behind the bus terminus is the ancient walled city of Mdina . Behind the hotel is Rabat with its beautiful streets , bar/restaurants, tourist attractions, shops & ornate churches."

"Amazing boutique hotel within the walls of Mdina. Very welcoming on arrival and made it clear they were there to help. We had a lovely room with a panoramic view and all the amenities you need. The fully served breakfast is fantastic. It was all beautifully presented with a wide variety - special mention to Lindsay who looked after us, she was brilliant. Our complete dining experience in De Mondian restaurant was exceptional! The hotel has a pool - not on site but a five min drive away (shuttle provided as & when) and we spent a very pleasant few hours there one afternoon away from the hustle and bustle. Fabulous couple of days at the end of our trip to Malta."
