"When we arrived at 10:00 p.m., there was a power outage affecting 40,000 customers in Halifax! The front desk staff were very apologetic, but it wasn't their fault. With a flashlight, they took us to our room and made sure we didn't need anything.
We were, however, very disappointed with the breakfast set up.
Instead of self serve for the eggs, meat and hashbrowns, this food was behind a counter with 1 server dishing out what each person requested, with her guessing the amount wanted. This made a very long line form. It was very inefficient and annoying. Every other hotel by Wyndham that we stayed at had completely self service for breakfast and there was no waiting. Also, there was limited seating and we had to take our food back to our room. For the size of this hotel, the breakfast room is incredibly small."
