"For the most part it was very good. Clean and quiet except maybe for some revellers across the street at the Social Pub. My room was facing the street so it was expected. Parking was included and easy with the King Street parking garage a short walk away. Overall it was great and I would definitely stay there again. "
"For what it is, it was great. An inexpensive, basic but clean & safe place to sleep.
The room was clean, and the beds comfy. A little outdated & small, and our curtains were broken is several places… but considering we paid half the price of other basic hotels in the area, we didn’t mind."
"The hotel was very good; having the Kelsey's restaurant attached was a real bonus. BUT the bathroom was definitely not designed with older or disabled people in mind. The side of the bathtub was high, making a bath and/or shower very difficult; the toilet was VERY low. It would be good to have some "accessible" rooms with walk-in shower and raised toilet on offer."
"I had a check in issue (my problem, not the Super 8) and it was resolved quickly & easily. The lady at the desk was very accomodating.
Also, we had booked two nights as my granddaughter was playing in a soccer tournament. However, due to the high temperatures the tournament was shortened so we didn't need the 2nd night. I asked if we could cancel the 2nd night and the they let us even though we were well past the 11 am checkout time. All we were charged was a $20 late checkout fee which I thought was very reasonable on the part of the facility as they could have just said we booked the second night so we had to pay for it.
Also, as continental breakfasts go this one was much better than typical. In addition to the usual bagels, toast, cold cereal, etc. it also had scrambled eggs, sausages, waffles and even hardboiled eggs. The dining area was also bright and quite spacious.
Overall, a very nice facility that I would certainly stay at again."
"Very convenient location and very friendly staff who helped us with requests such as extra pillows and towels, and even one unusual service request we had.
The neighbour next door was extra loud, but it was not the hotel's fault. "
"The rooms were clean, beds were comfortable and appreciated the AC. Owner were wonderful and very accommodating when I accidentally booked 2 rooms. Thank you and we enjoyed our stay "
