"My son and I had a great time staying at the Hope cabin over the Christmas holiday. Everything was exactly as described, fire pit, outdoor seating, cooking appliances, Wifi was great our entire stay. Rob & Connie are amazing hosts and provided all the info we needed to have a great time in Hocking Hills. I wouldn't hesitate to book with them again! "

"It was an awesome experience. We had a women’s healing retreat and everything was wonderful. We had a winter storm begin after everyone arrived and the host extended his compassion and didn’t rush us out at check out. When we left the roads were clear and we all made it home safely. Everything we needed to have a wonderful dinner experience was in the cabinets. All we had to do was bring the food and the supplies were perfect. Thank you and I look forward to returning back soon. "This was the worst experience my guest and I have ever experienced.My reservation was confirmed for a 26-person cabin with a 4:00 PM check-in. My guests arrived at the scheduled check in time and were left waiting for two hours due to the cabin not being ready. Only after that wait were we informed that we would have to stay in an alternate cabin that accommodates significantly fewer people. This space was not compatible for what we booked. I had planned to hold my wedding ceremony Friday morning which was approved by the host when we first booked this home. Due to the inconvenience and having to check out of the temporary cabin and checked into the original cabin at the same time, this had created yet another disruption. Having to pack, vacate, and move 25 guest including little children during this critical period had thrown off our full schedule. When we finally arrived to the original location we were even more disappointed with the conditions the house was in. The toilets are moldy, every corner in each room had a bulk of Asian beetles, the whole house smelt awful, the hot tub was not working, the house is not kept up with maintenance. Overall not safe. After I contacted the host they sent over the cleaning crew in the middle of our stay without my approval to clean the infestation of Asian beetles. I completely understand that we were in the middle of the woods however, the previous place did not have this problem and it was down the street from the original house."

"The cabin was decorated really pretty inside, the trees and fall leaves added to the coziness, and the hottub was a perfect addition to our girls night trip! Will was a great host, and very accomodating! We would love to come again!"

"They were very nice & helped us get a room after our air b&b fell through. Thank God for them! It wasn’t super luxurious but it didn’t need to be. It was what we needed. The staff were sweet. The rooms were clean. The bath was nice. The free breakfast saved us money & kept us full. I’m extremely grateful."

"What an amazing spacious getaway for a family dog for ages ranging 32 to 84. There was plenty of first floor rooms and bathrooms to accommodate all mobility levels. We do wish we had better planned for the distance from the house to the pool. There was difficulty in transport/distance for our older folks. We enjoyed all areas of the home and fire pit area. We did have some difficulty navigating the driveways at first but figured it out. We went to nearby McAthur to pick up pizza and to Lake Hope Lodge for a lovely dinner. Plenty of room for our little pup as well and just a great place overall. There were some very minor things that would not at all deter us from a revisit - some low lighting in some areas especially common areas; the hot tub was out of service but that was probably for the best with our crew! All in all would absolutely revisit. "
