Check in was a little slow, but not that big of a deal. The breakfast was really good, quite pricey, but the food was made fresh, and the staff was really nice. "We had a wonderful three-night stay at the Residence Inn by Marriott Montreal Downtown from April 9th to April 12th. Traveling with my mom and dad, we felt right at home. The suite was spacious and comfortable, the atmosphere was peaceful, and the downtown location made everything easily accessible. A very memorable and pleasant family stay despite of an unfortunate event that happened over the wkend. The front desk staff member (I believe his name is Abler) was very accommodating and friendly. He kindly offered me the option to park my vehicle in the open parking lot behind the hotel, which is also owned by the property, instead of using one of the affiliated parking garages. Overall, everything during check-in was smooth and the room was clean and comfortable. However, a serious incident occurred on Saturday around 2:15 a.m. My vehicle was broken into—someone shattered the rear passenger window in an attempt to steal my truck. Fortunately, the front desk staff member Sammy and the security officer (I believe his name is Anthony) responded quickly after spotting the activity on the surveillance cameras. By the time they arrived, one individual had already entered the vehicle and appeared to have interfered with my Ring camera, causing it to stop recording. When hotel staff approached, both suspects fled to a getaway vehicle that was waiting nearby. Thankfully, the security vehicle was positioned in front of my truck, which helped for them not to complete their act. "
