The service and room were good. The bed was great and slept like a baby. The property is over 20 years old and it's starting to show. Continental breakfast a bare minimum for the price we paid. The Staybridge next door is newer and may try that next time.

There was no glass for drinking water, there was no hot water in the Bathroom sink. Patching around a water pipe in the bathroom was messy and apeared to be done by a child.

It walls were to thin you can hear everything and then the power went out B4 check out so I didn't even get a chance to to finish get ready in confort

The hotel was ok but was under construction. I booked for two nights but left on the second day because a tropical storm was hitting the area. They would not comp me for the night. The shower I couldn't make work because I wasn't pulling hard enough on some weird extra knob. I guess I was afraid of pulling it out of the wall. The maintenance man came in and almost had to use pliers to make it work. My biggest #1 complaint? For as expensive as the hotel was, there was no free coffee. I could have stayed in 100 places around there that was less expensive and gotten free coffee and breakfast. So next time i'm in the RGV, I will definitely stay somewhere else.
