amazing hotel , I was there with my children and felt safe , the staff was amazing and very responsive to anything we needed , truly a great place to stay the vacation in mazatlan ,,,, very quiet despite being on ocean view ,,, and the reason why I loved it even more is because they are pet friendly and allowed my dog stay with me and it was great .

Coral Island is an older hotel that needs some TLC that is located right on the Malecon - terrific location. Staff are very accommodating and breakfast is excellent and very convenient.

We didn’t like that we where with out water for a an hours. The pool wasn’t available until the end of the stay. Over all it was pleasant and the room was cold how we like it. Area was beautiful

The rooms are small than what they appear online pay attention to the square footage.. They charge 250 pesos for each person for day passes to the pool, if you had anyone come that isn’t on your reservation.. The service was good but it is an older hotel and needs some updates.

No pool, no discount offered.

The staff was friendly, and the room was nice enough. Upon checking in, I asked where the pool was located because I really wanted to cool off, but they told me the swimming pool was out-of-service. I feel this should have been communicated pre-booking, and if that wasn't possible, a discount offered at check-in. This is a pretty major issue in the Mazatlan heat, and since they use a beautiful photo of their pool as the main hotel image on Hotels.com.

The noise from the condensers made it impossible to sit outside on the tiny balconies or sit by the pool. There was two of us but only one chair for the balcony. Very small room. Maid service left us one water everyday. No face clothes. Staff were very good but I would not recommend staying here.
