"Lime cottage is very comfortable and as shown in photos. Good location and nice neighborhood. Reason for giving 3* review is because host put us in Lavender cottage without an explanation and after we pointed out photos didn't match the unit. Lavender looks more like student accomodation. Only after contacting Vrbo, they were able to resolve the situation and we were moved to Lime cottage for the rest of our stay. "

"Breakfast was good, with a good menu to order hot food as an al a carte. Pool was beautiful with comfortable sun loungers. The team made me a picnic to celebrate my birthday in the beautiful gardens, it was excellent.
good selection of drinks to help yourself throughout the stay.
I felt that the rooms needed a good refurbishment. Dirty carpets and walls. I was disappointed as this was supposed to be a luxury stay. we had to move rooms and there were mattress issues and leaking air conditioner. I did feed this back to management. "

"Great stay at this wonderful house, everything you need for a comfortable holiday. Sharon - the owner - was very responsive. Lots of shops (Constantia Mall and Diep River) nearby and close to the M3 motorway. Very safe area - my son went on several runs and walks. "

"The Newlands Guest House, a charming place built in 1836, has all necessary modern amenities including a swimming pool. Sarah and John, the proprietors, were the perfect hosts. They were very friendly & helpful with info about local places to see & dine at. We began each morning with a hearty meal, with hot & cold selections.
Our room was very spacious and clean. Their cats & dog were a bonus. Our room opened onto a delightful garden.
We had a wonderful three night stay at NGH, & would gladly return."
