Excellent location to view the elephants in the river at good price. Staff were very attentive, nice pool and great breakfast. 4pm checkin was a bit of a pain, but we understand the reason why. 12pm checkout means you get see the elephants the next morning.

It was absolutely amazing.Russell gave us undivided attention and made our stay a haven.The food conveyance was all taken care off and we enjoyed the breathtaking view and tranquility of the place was astounding.We will definitely come again and this was the best place we enjoyed in srilanka.

Our recent stay was excellent. Staff approach was professional, efficient , courteous & friendly. Nothing was too much trouble! We thoroughly enjoyed staying in the garden bungalow, looking into the forest & waking to the birds twittering. Allow time to sit around the horizon pool & read memorabilia displayed inside the bungalow. It's a pity we didn't stay longer!

All the staff were incredible. The property was magic (we stayed in the giant tent). Handy to town via the on premises tuk tuk. Great food and just generally a damn good time!

The place was perfect. Lovely host and large breakfast Short tuk tuk ride from bus stop or a 20 min walk Steep drive and some stairs so better suited for packs rather than large suitcases

Quality hotel for a great price

The location was great, really quite far from town but that’s fine if you have a tuk tuk driver you can call. Beds and linen are very comfortable. You might be need ask for a blanket though as the temp is coolish and there wasn’t one in the bed or wardrobe. They hung onto my bigger luggage (free of charge) while I went up to Dambulla for a night to visit Sigiriya, which was invaluable. It was a newish hotel when i stayed so hopefully they will have finished the building on the rooftop that was...

A new hotel. Some completion going on during our stay. Everything was very well done. Attentive staff, great food in the dining area, great roof pool with stunning views over Kandy. Would have happily stayed longer.

Helpful staff, good location and a short walk to the lake. The room was a good size and the bed was huge and comfortable. Plus the shower has the hottest water in Sri Lanka! The internet signal can be a little inconsistent ok if your rooms are near reception but signal quality drops if your at the end of the hotel?
