Fantastic property, spotlessly clean and wonderfully equipped for a luxury holiday. The pool, pool relaxation area, petanque court and gardens are truly lovely. Walking into the centre of Maussane is easy and there are interesting shops and lots of amazing restaurants to choose from. The very best thing about this lovely home is the hosts Jean-Paul and Cathy who made our holiday a real French experience. We loved it so much we are planning our return. Thank you so much for hosting.

Jean Paul und Cathy sind sehr nette und bemĂŒhte Vermieter, sie wohnen unmittelbar links der Anliegerwohnung. Das GrundstĂŒck befindet sich in in einer sehr ruhigen und angenehmen Wohnlage, manchmal hört man den Verkehr von der nahen Durchgangsstrasse. Unmittelbar an das GrundstĂŒck gern ein kleines WaldstĂŒck an, von hier aus lassen sich wunderbare Wanderungen Richtung Beau erkunden. Wir empfanden unseren Aufenthalt als sehr erholsam auch wenn am Anfang der Mistral einen kalten Nordwind das Tal durch das Tal blies.

Jean -Paul and Cathy could not have been more attentive and helpful; the house more perfect for our needs and the area of Maussane and the Alpilles more beautiful. We loved it. Jean-Paul et Cathy: merci pour tout. Notre sejour etait parfait -si tranquille comme vous avez dit. Le soleil, la piscine, le marche et le silence etaient tout que nous cherchions. Merci encore et bonnes vacances a Marrakech. Peut-etre un jeu de boules l’annee prochaine, Jean-Paul? Au revoir, John and Sarah.

Wir hatten bei Jean Paul und Cathy einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt. Die Unterkunft war sehr schön, geschmackvoll und gemĂŒtlich eingerichtet. Die 2 Gastgeber waren sehr zuvorkommend und liebenswert. Das Boulespiel mit den beiden hat uns viel Spaß bereitet. Die Umgebung ist auch zum radfahren sehr gut geeignet. Wir werden ganz sicher noch einmal hinfahren. Wolfgang und Karin

TrĂšs bel endroit et location trĂšs belle et propre et bien Ă©quipĂ©e. Ainsi que la piscine et le jardin au top. TrĂšs bon accueil initial des propriĂ©taires. Cependant si vous dĂ©sirez ĂȘtre tranquilles passez votre chemin. La piscine n est en aucun cas privative. Le propriĂ©taire y vient rĂ©guliĂšrement se baigner Ă  deux mĂštres de votre terrasse. Nous espĂ©rions un havre de tranquillitĂ©. Nous avons Ă©tĂ© surveillĂ©s en permanence de nos faits et gestes, jusqu'Ă  ce que mĂȘme le propriĂ©taire vienne en personne fermer la porte fenĂȘtre entrouverte de notre location soit disant pour un problĂšme de climatisation que nous avions pensĂ©e Ă©teinte alors que nous Ă©tions en train de nous habiller. Sans parler de sa prĂ©sence permanente autour de nous du petit dĂ©jeuner au diner. En somme la maison et la piscine devaient ĂȘtre privatives, cela n'a pas Ă©tĂ© le cas, nous avons mĂȘme eu des agressions verbales et ce sont pour nous les pires vacances que nous ayons eues pour 2300 euros pour une semaine. Du fait de l'agression verbale sur le problĂšme de climatisation (qui aurait pu ĂȘtre discutĂ© gentiment, je pense qu'il y a un pb de tĂ©lĂ©commande, et mĂȘme, cela ne justifie pas une telle agressivitĂ© sur des locataires qui ont Ă©tĂ© trĂšs respectueux et soigneux de tout le logement et ont Ă©tĂ© trĂšs discrets) nous sommes partis un jour plus tĂŽt que prĂ©vu.

Die Unterkunft ist traumhaft und ruhig gelegen und in einem sehr sauberen und komfortablen Zustand. Cathy und Jean-Paul Bitanga sind sehr freundlich und jederzeit hilfsbereit. Der kurze Weg in ein typisches und belebtes Dorf, sowie die vielen sportlichen und kulturellen Möglichkeiten machen Maussane zu einem idealen Ferienort. Wir werden wieder kommen.

This was well worth the 2 year wait to visit. We originally booked for June 2020 and we rescheduled twice as we waited through the pandemic. Everything inside and out was beautiful, clean, and inviting. For our daughter the pool was one of the highlights of our whole trip. The host Jean-Paul and Catherine were kind and helpful. We wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Bonjour, Je dĂ©plore que le site ABRITEL mette en avant (photo) l'ensemble de la propriĂ©tĂ© alors que seul le gĂźte annexe Ă  l'habitation est Ă  la disposition des vacanciers. Etant correspondant TRIPADVISOR pour les hĂŽtels et restaurants, je jouerai donc de cette casquette pour indiquer, selon la formule consacrĂ©e, que "le diable se cache dans les dĂ©tails". Je veux dire par lĂ  que tous les Ă©quipements proposĂ©s doivent ĂȘtre en parfait Ă©tat de fonctionnement, qu'il s'agisse de la tĂ©lĂ©vision, d'internet ou du tire-bouchon.... Cela dit, cette location permet vraiment de passer d'excellentes vacances, les propriĂ©taires (hĂŽtes) sont charmants, dĂ©vouĂ©s et rĂ©actifs. La piscine, soigneusement prĂ©parĂ©e et entretenue par Jean Paul est au top! Le jardin est magnifique et finement entretenu par ... les ciseaux de Catherine. Bref, n'hĂ©sitez pas Ă  vous rendre Ă  cette adresse mĂȘme si les derniers 200 m de l'accĂšs au logement passent par un chemin "chaotique" pour la voiture !

Wonderful week-long stay in Provence. Our hosts Jean-Paul and Catherine were very welcoming to our family and our 1.5 year old daughter. Beautiful grounds with a lovely pool, and a well appointed apartment with all the necessary modern conveniences. We really enjoyed our stay with the Bitangas at the apartment attached to their house. Maussane is a surprisingly buzzy and cosmopolitan village, lots of lovely shops and restaurants, and an easy walk from the Mas. There are lots of ice cream opportunities in town, as well as bars/cafes and pizzerias. Our children adored the fabulous swimming pool and every facility was provided (washing machine, dishwasher, clothes dryer for example). Short striking distance to Les Baux des Provence which was a highlight of our holiday. In the hot weather, the Carrieres des Lumieres were a welcome relief!! It was also great to be able to practise my French; the Bitangas were very patient!!

On a vraiment passĂ© de trĂšs belles vacances dans une magnifique rĂ©gion que nous ne connaissions pas encore ! Nos hĂŽtes, Catherine et Jean-Paul, ont Ă©tĂ© Ă  la fois discrets et attentionnĂ©s, toujours prĂȘts Ă  nous donner de bonnes idĂ©es de visites ou de s'enquĂ©rir de notre bien ĂȘtre. Le gĂźte est Ă©galement trĂšs bien et idĂ©alement situĂ©, au cƓur des Alpilles ! TrĂšs bien amĂ©nagĂ© et dĂ©corĂ© avec goĂ»t, on s'y est trĂšs vite senti comme chez nous. La climatisation Ă©tait la bienvenue avec ces fortes chaleurs et que dire de la piscine, elle a fait le bonheur de toute la petite famille ! Le centre du village, tout proche, offre Ă©galement des commerces et restaurants de qualitĂ©. Ces 15 jours n'auront pas suffit, et c'est avec grand plaisir que nous reviendrons ! Mooi, compleet ingericht huis met in de tuin voldoende zitplaatsen om af te wisselen. Eigen zwembad. Zeer vriendelijke behulpzame eigenaren, gastvrij maar niet opdringend. 10 Minuten wandelen naar de dorpsstraat met verschillende winkels en restaurants. Gunstig gelegen voor uitstapjes in de omgeving.

This is the perfect vacation home, very clean and beautifully decorated. Jean-Paul and Cathy are kind a generous hosts. They recommended amazing restaurants and bicycling routes and helped us with learning French. The home situated just a short walk from the village where we found boulangeries, a fromagerie, restaurants, and anything one would want. The terrace overlooks the pool and garden with olive trees and lavender, a beautiful setting for all of our meals. Thank you Cathy and Jean-Paul for a lovely stay!
