Maupiti guest house
We enjoyed our stay. John and his family were extremely helpful and gracious to us. Our stay was short and sweet. The location of the house is close to some snack shops and close to the boat shuttle location. They picked us up and dropped off at the the boat shuttle location. We don't speak french which makes it very hard to communicate without Google translate. But John's sister was very patient with us. Thank you John and family for our stay and all your hospitality!

This house is attached to John's parents house There is a door inside the house that connects the 2 houses. The Kitchen had ants everywhere. The bathroom was decent & functional. The bedroom downstairs is right off the kitchen with no door & right beside the door that connects the 2 houses. We booked this house as part of our Honeymoon, as we didn't want to stay in a pension because my husband doesn't speak French. The booking was simple, & John provided me with his WhatsApp number so we can communicate easily. We communicated re: having entire house, pick up at the ferry and excursions. Upon arriving to the dock, John informed us that he had a surprise for us, which were two other travelers were in our house. We arrived to the house to find their luggage and food already in before our check in and we would now need to share a bathroom & kitchen. Furthermore, we would need to walk infront/beside the bed of the two other travelers to access our room. We shared our concerns with John stating we don't feel comfortable, (they were two girls). John called us rude, mean and not nice, he said we should accept the new guests with a smile. We argued back and forth until he removed their stuff from the house and then he proceeded to charge us for the pick up from the ferry 2K because we didn't agree with the 2 girls staying with us. John didn't want us to have the key to the house either. but ended giving it. His excursion was great, his mom and sister are wonderful people.

Super séjour chez John
Nous avons passé un super séjour chez John et sa famille. Le logement était très propre et fonctionnel. Nous avons été reçu avec des colliers de fleurs à notre arrivée à l’aéroport. Nous avons aussi effectué la sortie Lagon avec John et c’est un souvenir inoubliable. Merci à lui pour toutes ces découvertes et sa gentillesse avec notre petit garçon de 7 ans.

Excellent
John et sa famille nous ont très bien accueilli, collier de fleur et coco à notre arrivée. L’excursion qu’ils proposent est exceptionnelle. La maison est propre, bien placée. Avec des vélos, on peut se déplacer facilement. Quand nous reviendrons à Maupiti (car c’est sur on reviendra), on logera chez eux.
