"This house really is a hidden gem. The property is very spacious and set amongst beautiful grounds full of olive trees with stunning panoramic views. There is plenty of outdoor space and ping pong and table football and a BBQ. The beach is a modest walk or cycle to the beach and a very short drive into the town which really comes alive in the evening. "Beautiful condo style resort with outstanding breakfast. The beaches are terrific, even the free one at the port, but you really need to drive there. The resort is on a steep hilltop (with great views) and unless you're willing to walk up a million stairs you'll need to use your car for the short distance to the beach. The town is close but there's nothing there of interest. The pool is not much more than a soaking tub...small and shallow. Overall, it's an attractive get-away for 2 days or so."

"The hotel was overall good. There was an issue effecting water pressure which meant that no one could use their sink or flush the toilets for several hours. We did not know that the pool had quiet hours in the afternoon where it was closed and did not realize that bathing caps were required in the pool. The location was excellent. Very close to the beach, with a private area for the hotel available at additional cost. It is also next to a fantastic farmers market and within a few minute walk of the heart of the city. Despite the minor issues we were happy with our stay and loved the city of Vieste."

"This is a gem of a property with a superb location and the most lovely hostess. Finding a villa like this close to one of the most scenic beaches in Italy if not Europe, is rare and we were very pleased to book it. From the day we arrived till the day we left, our hostess, Silvana was welcoming and flexible and gave us a lot of really useful information. She took us to the beach and showed us how to access it through the hotel and the lift. For the next week we went there frequently and never had a problem. She was a major reason why we had such a good time.The house itself was excellent. Split over two levels, it has two very spacious bedrooms in the basement along with a bathroom / toilet. The ground floor has a living room and kitchen as well as a toilet. An external shower was used regularly after visits to the sea. The heat was dealt with using an AC on the ground floor while fans were sufficient for the basement bedrooms as they were cooler.A smart TV and a fast WiFi connection were also very welcome.Exploring the Gargano region was really easy from the villa with most places within an hour and a half (driving in the region is slow because the the winding roads)Stocking up with groceries in Mattinata or Manfredonia is recommended as there are none in the local area. The villa is well equipped for cooking and there is a restaurant a short walk away with a view of the bay.The villa is highly recommended and we would love to visit again. Thank you Silvana!"
