"The hotel is in a good part of Aomori city quite close to Aomori Station. It is important to note this is not the Shinkansen station which is about 8 minutes away by train. The hotel is quite basic. The staff is polite and all business as is normally the case in Japan. There are many hotels to choose from in this area and this is one of them for no special reason."

"Very good location near many restaurants and shops. Less than ten minutes walk to the main train station. Bus stops about half a block from the hotel. Lawson’s convenience store right down stairs for any snacks or drinks you might need. They provide you with bottled water every day . Clean towels and pajamas daily. Bed and room was comfortable. There’s an awesome sushi restaurant behind the hotel that’s excellent!"

"Room and amenities were lovely. I didn’t get to take advantage of the onsen but it looked really nice. Bathroom especially was so pristine and great smelling products. My only suggestion would be to make the stairs available for people to come up and down because the elevator can be very slow."

"A lovely hotel by Lake Towada that is beginning to show its age. It’s a perfectly fine place to stay, and it’s in a nice location, but it feels so empty, having such a large hotel with so few guests."

"This is an historic and rustic natural hot spring hotel high in the woods very authentic. A hidden gem. The staff was super friendly and dinner and breakfast included incredible. The hot spring one hot and one warm great to spend lots of time- supper mmmmm. My favorite place this trip. Not new and fancy but relaxing and special"
