Milk, tea, coffee pods and biscuits appreciated. Recommend making it clear that milk is provided in advance.Convenient location for TransPeak bus stop and Whatstandwell station. The owner helpfully described the bus stop location when calling for the keycode.Busy road - but expected by its location. We didn't find instructions about bins and recycling.A bit pricy - but good quality finish of the lodge acknowledged.

Excellent little cottage, away from it all.
Excellent little cottage, away from it all. Well equipped and well decorated and comfortable.
Close yet far enough away from everything which is what we wanted, though some may find the lack of local amenities a hinderance we had no issue with this, failing to prepare is preparing to fail after all.
Take note that the A6 running by the cottage does get busy, road noise can be a little disturbing, or perhaps we were a little unlucky with a horde of bikers over the Easter weekend.
Also a little advice if you fancy a lay in take eye masks for sleeping, the velux windows which are nice for a view of the night sky also allow unimpeded morning sun.
