"Our studio cottage was located right on the water, so we got to enjoy gorgeous views and a convenient launch-off for some great kayaking! The interior was very well-kept and clean, bed and sheets were extremely comfortable, and having both a bath and separate shower was a big bonus for me and my +1. It was clear that a lot of care and attention was put into making sure the cottage was an enjoyable and comfortable stay. We both adored our time staying here and we can’t wait to return!"

"I read the reviews before I booked this property and the reason some people are giving it 2/10 is because there is no front desk staff. You check in with a virtual agent on a screen instead. I could see how this would be a problem for older people or travelers who are not prepared to speak to a screen, but I found the whole process pretty easy and quick. The bedding was comfortable, the heat worked perfectly, the shower was a bit low pressure for people with thick hair, and the breakfast was great except for the Saturday morning biscuits instead of eggs, but waffles were still available. "I was very disappointed in this hotel's condition for $177.00. The rooms were in poor condition including broken furniture. The desk was missing support on one leg and it was just propped against the all, bathroom mold, old carpet and missing light bulbs from fixtures. The staff reported that the hotel will be undergoing a complete renovation soon but this is not acceptable for current visitors who are expecting better from a Marriott property.
