Amazing staff, amazing location, breakfast was lovely. Everything was super clean and lovely bed linen and towels. We couldnt fault anything and we would highly recommend.

Loved this hotel. Arrival was warm, welcoming and we had a lovely welcome drink. We then went to our room (room 8, a superior double). It was absolutely stunning. We had 3 balconies with magnificent views over the caves. Breakfast was within a cave (our room wasn’t - although was still sandstone and beautiful, without the damp issues of being in a cave!) - with a lovely choice including ample gluten free options. The lady who served us at breakfast was so kind, friendly and made us feel welcome every morning. We also ate at Radino one night and had a lovely meal. It was our only non Michelin guide or Michelin star meal and it exceeded our expectations so we’d recommend this. It will always hold a special place in our hearts as it is where my boyfriend proposed to me - on our balcony, just us in the middle of Matera - totally magical. You must visit Matera and we’d highly recommend you stay here

This Hotel is so so beautiful. The staff was really friendly. The breakfast was excellent and one of the best cappuccino that i ever had. Very nice stay!
