"We chose this property originally because it had wheelchair access and it was large enough to handle our large family group of 4 generations. Little did I know just how amazing the property, the owners and especially how amazing Flory our concierge was! This was a very special trip as my father is battling end stage colon cancer and we wanted to celebrate his life with what he called his "Going away Party". Flory contacted me immediately once the reservation was made and was so communicative throughout the entire process. She set up surf lessons, horseback riding and fishing where 7 Sail Fish were caught! She also had a chef prepare some amazing food for some dinners as well as a birthday breakfast for my grandson's 16th birthday. The house and Villas are beautiful and the beds were so comfortable! The view from the bedrooms could not have been more serene and we did have a visit from some monkeys, iguanas and our favorite, sloths. Jacson was a master at finding the sloths and always let us know where they moved to. Perry and Paola, the owners, are the nicest people and so humble. We were so fortunate to have met them when we were there. We have absolutely nothing negative to say about our experience and my father was so appreciative of the care everyone took to ensure his last trip on this earth was a great one. We would definitely stay again the next time we visit Costa Rica!"

"This is a spectacular setting, and lives up to the pictures. It is hard to find, however and needs better signage. The pool is really nice. The open concept of the home was great for our family. We enjoyed the four king bed suites. We loved the views. The outdoor grill worked well. The kitchen needs upgrading to match the beautiful home. We spent Christmas here and are glad we did. The only thing we would have wished for was the chef recommended by the host to follow through on his plans. He bailed on us the day before our arrival. The closest grocery store is about 20 minutes away."

"We are so thankful for Wil. Wil is the property manager (I'm not sure of his actual title). How helped us get up and down the mountain each day. He brought us food the first day while we were trying to figure out the best plans of actions. YOU WILL NEED A 4X4. Even with a 4x4 I am not sure I would have been able to drive up this mountain! We would have been okay to just stay in this mountain home and watch the toucans all week!The house was what was pictured. It was beautiful. As some other reviews stated, there is some maintenance needed, but it does not detract from the natural beauty around this home. The walk to the pool is beautiful, but it is definitely a walk with a lot of stairs."

"We enjoyed our stay at Jardin over Christmas. The room was perfectly sized for two people. We appreciated the air conditioning at night and the bed was comfortable. Plus, how can you go wrong when there are sloths and monkeys near you! The breakfast is outstanding! Don't miss it. We had activities planned each day while we stayed and it was a great location to keep driving each day to a reasonable amount of time. We went diving/snorkeling in Uvita, hiking in Manuel Antonio, and white water rafting with Rafiki Lodge. There were a lot of really great restaurants near by too. The staff was wonderful! If you are looking for a quiet area to stay in, search no further!"

"Everything here was fabulous, as soon as we hit that road we knew our view and our privacy were going to be exactly what we wanted. Nothing was lacking. We were surprised that others made comments about the road, no cross ditches, no potholes, just one little creek and this was after heavy rains (thinking those comments came from parking lot princesses lol). Oh...the view from the pool is spectacular "

"We really loved this house. It was so clean and had everything we needed and more. The host company was extremely helpful and very quick to respond. The pool was clean and the property was so cool. The plants and wildlife were so cool! We saw parrots and toucan, lots cool insects, coatimundi, toads, butterflies, lizards, frogs, toads, hummingbirds, and more. Great place for older kids and adults. There are a lot of stairs and the master bedroom in with the main living areas. The other bedrooms are completely separate and below the main living space you get to by stairs. This was actually really nice for our teens to have their own space. The view from the balcony was gorgeous and each night parrots would fly over as we watched the sunset. There are a lot of bathrooms and huge showers. This was a great location to be close to different parks and other things to do while still being very private. The waterfall was very pretty. You’re ready to get in the pool by the time you walk back. "
