"Good food! However, the rooms are dark and damp. And be aware that the AC and all electricity is turned off at 11:00 a.m. and doesn’t go back on until 4:00 p.m. So the hottest part of the day is without AC. "

"Our stay at VS exceeded our expectations!! The owners was very pleasant, attentive from the moment we booked up until we left! The onsight house managers went up and beyond to help us out and show us around, if you want awesome day out on the boat - Robert her husband took us out for an incredible snorkeling day! VInna’s Fish Tacos and Mango Salsa is a must try! Having a mealready for us on arrive was perfect!!Having fresh fruit brought to us was a delicious treat! It was fun to pick our own pineapple on the property!! and it was delicious! If you’re thinking about renting this, don’t walk run!! We loved the fact that we had two restaurants that were awesome and walking distance, and yes, I was mush after my two hour Massage (on the beach) at Coconut Grove! Would we come back ….. in a heartbeat!! "

"What a beautiful place! Million dollar views, an unbelievably friendly staff and consistently excellent food at the restaurant made our holiday perfect. We loved the infinity pool overlooking the ocean as well. The staff are so friendly and helpful, consistently going out of their way to make sure that we had everything we needed. Until you are able to interact with Fijians, you truly don’t know how friendly people can be. Special thanks to Pini, Storm, Millie, Raymond and the whole crew at TIR. Thanks to living legend Ric (the owner) as well who we spent every breakfast with hearing stories about Taveuni and his efforts to promote diving and conservation in Fiji. "

"Bure was great, staff and owners are great and go extra step to make sure everything is going well. Super wonderful stay and the lovely people really make this place shine. I've stayed here in the past several times with previous owners and it was wonderful then and its has not drop off at all. Loved the room, loved the restaurant and chef was very able to adopt to my allergy requirements. Food was excellent. Birds in the morning, stars at night, waves all the time. Fantastic. Can't wait to come back!"

"Mere and the whole team were super helpful, friendly and made it a very nice place to stay. The food is excellent with views of the sunset and the ocean. Very easy access to the beach where you can snorkel, grab a coffee or some more food. Recommend using their local knowledge to book excursions such as scuba diving or trips around the island. Look forward to returning one day!"

"Staff very helpful. Non intrusive. Bures(cottages) very private and very well kept up and very romantic. Great food. Attentive wait staff Small venue. So it’s very private feeling. Amazing opportunities to snorkel very close by. Not on the best beach for a swim but can have a private experience on a private beautiful beach to yourselves 5 min boat ride away. Pool area well maintained. Tables at mealtime well spaced so can have own conversations. Opportunities to do some fun excursions. "

"You won’t regret staying here. Instantaneous gas hot water with plenty of water pressure. Air con. Ceiling fan in main bedroom. Fully functional kitchen with groceries nearby. Jason and Ajay can organise whatever else you need. The location and vista from the large front covered verandah is an excellent place to soak in the Taveuni tropical vibe. "

"What a sparkling gem to find Helen and Peter’s place to end our stay in Fiji. Just perfect for the 2 of us. Its quiet, amazing 180 degree views of the ocean and the islands,beautiful garden with the old gracious mango tree and comfortable bed, and value for money compared to our stays in resorts. Helen arranged for delicious home cooked Fijian meals to be delivered to our door at half of the price of elsewhere You can walk to other cafes and supermarket. Peter bought us home baked bread, coconuts , eggs and milk. Highly recommended would come in a heartbeat. Thankyou so much. "
