"This is a hidden gem! Everything about this property is exceptional! It's meticulously maintained. This is the second time we have stayed here and can't wait to return. The location is perfectly situated between Camden and Rockland which have many charming boutiques and dining options. The rooms are spotless with every amenity. The breathtaking view overlooks the serene harbor. The infinity pool was amazing and clean and overlooks the harbor as well. We especially appreciated the Adirondack chairs situated at the water's edge while taking in the view. Cannot wait to return!"

"This is our go to place to stay when visiting my dad in Maine. Charming, quiet, beautiful gardens and great coffee and banana bread made by Steve who is a gracious host. Wonderful screened in porch to sit and chat or relax and take in the beauty of the gardens."

"Perfect spot for a few friends to stay for our local wedding! There are plenty of fans in the home but beware the middle, full bed room was quite warm, even with windows open. The rest of the house stayed quite cool with fans and window breeze. If you are sensitive to scents there are multiple plug ins and the front 2 rooms have a pretty strong scent, which could be difficult for those with asthma/scent sensitivities. If you use Waze it will take you much further past the home so heads up :)Hope to be back in beautiful Maine soon! Thanks Martha!"

"This was our first stay in a traditional bed and breakfast and it was fantastic. The room was super cozy with a very comfortable bed and an amazing luxurious shower. The evening snacks and breakfast amenities were outstanding as well. We highly recommend the Talbot House and will be returning in the future."

"We flung the Owls Head post office VRBO a very comfortable place to spend a week visiting Maine with our dog Rusty. It is very clean and comfortable and the General Store is very handy and serves delicious food, especially their blueberry pancakes and BLTs. We especially enjoyed siting on the back deck in the evening with sundowners, and the gardens are spectacular. We walked the neighborhood two or three times a day with our dog and everyone we met was friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this location for a restful stay in a very special place."
