The best area to stay in Martinice is generally in the village centre, particularly around the main square, for convenience and access to local amenities.

The village centre of Martinice is quite compact, featuring traditional Czech architecture and a relaxed pace of life. You'll find the local church, a few shops, and eateries concentrated around the central square, which often hosts local markets or events. It's an excellent base for exploring the surrounding countryside.

Couples looking for a peaceful getaway will particularly appreciate staying in the village centre. It offers a chance to experience authentic village life, enjoy leisurely strolls through the fields, and dine at local establishments without needing to travel far. The lack of major tourist crowds ensures a serene holiday.

For solo travellers seeking a quiet retreat or a base for hiking and cycling, the areas just outside the immediate village centre, but still within walking distance, are ideal. These spots often offer guesthouses or smaller accommodations with direct access to walking trails and scenic routes through the Zlín Region's rolling hills and forests.

The best time to visit Martinice is during the late spring and early autumn months, specifically May, June, September, and early October.

These periods offer pleasant weather conditions, with comfortable temperatures that are ideal for exploring the natural beauty of the Zlín Region. You'll find the countryside is at its most picturesque, whether with the fresh blooms of spring or the rich colours of autumn. It's an excellent time for outdoor activities like hiking and cycling without the intense heat of summer or the chill of winter.

For those planning to attend local festivals or enjoy outdoor events, the summer months of July and August are also a good option, though they can be warmer and more crowded.
