Bed and Breakfast in Marseille

"Very friendly and helpful staff, and everything was spotless. The breakfast was varied and tasty, and the air conditioning was very effective. There were a few minor issues that didn’t affect the quality of our stay but may be relevant for others: I found the bed a little too soft, and thanks to the raised platform around it, a little too low. The bedside lights seemed to still glow even when switched off, and there were no in-room tea-making facilities or safe. The lift was quite small and only started from first floor up so would not be suitable for those with mobility issues. These did not affect our stay in any major way as everything else was perfect and you can tell the staff care and provide the best service they can. And the view is fantastic with no noise audible from the very busy street below!"

"The room was very small. The mattresses kept sliding off the beds. We had the check in staff add our names to the 4:30am shuttle to the airport, but after being the first to get on the shuttle with our suitcases and the shuttle was full, we were asked to get off because our names were not on the list and there were 2 others who needed a shuttle as well. In the time that the guy was trying to figure out names/rooms on shuttle list, he could have driven the first group to the airport and came back to get 2nd group. The airport was a 5 minute drive. I would not recommend staying at this hotel. Better to stay at the Hilton Garden Inn which is next door"

"Room was fine, but somewhat small. No room for a closet or shelves to put clothes, so we had to use the table for our clothes. The toilet seat was a bit to small, it was actually a difficult for a grown man to fit all "parts" into the toilet bowl."

"Very basic hotel. Front desk staff was helpful. They arranged a taxi to the airport for me. They advertised 24 hour food services which wasn't the case. The hotel is directly behind the train station. The walkway to the hotel entrance smelled of dog feces. "
