Unwelcoming to guest also be careful of the staff trying to pocket your cash instead of using the credit card machine when paying for breakfast Sketchy employees!!!!!! Extremely limited staff available. Spa is okay but massage therapist were probably trained in the Amazon jungle I could massage myself better

The Zen Riad
Riad Elisa was our favorite in Marrakech! It’s very clean and has a more modern / zen vibe and look. The rooftop terrace was beautiful for drinks at sunset. The staff were all very nice and helpful and the location was ideal. Easy to find right on the edge of the Medina and near a part of the souk that was easier to navigate. We did not do breakfast there as it was overpriced when most places include it and there airport pickup is overpriced too. But those are the only downfalls. Everything else was awesome and would definitely stay there again.

I went with my friend and the stay was amazing. The place is super clean. The dinner was nice. I would just suggest a change in breakfast cause it was the same everyday. Other than that i had an amazing time at Riad Elisa

Perfect Location! Warm Service and Very Clean!
Choose the Deluxe rooms the Duplex are small and on the lower floor, and ask for a room away from the main door if you don't want to be woken in the night from other guest coming back. Overall perfect location and relax Riad for your visit to Marrakech. Good food with a relaxed Spa! all you need. Enjoy!

Booked a suite duplex with downstairs patio. Was “upgraded” to a room with no patio and was unable to get our original room because they had given it away to someone else. Bathroom door handle was broken off on the inside, so you had to leave it open or have someone let you out when you were finished.

Building is impressive and has been nicely restored, but remains a work in process. - Air conditioning cut out during 2 of the nights at the Riad and room was sweltering without it - No keys are provided to Riad entrance door, which is locked overnight and attended by a night manager - we were woken up by repeated loud knocking in the early hours of one morning - Rooftop is still closed and apparently under renovation for another 3 months; had this been clearer at the time of booking, would likely have selected a different place to stay

The reception room and courtyard were beautiful, however, I am quite disappointed in the rooms. There was a huge issue with the plumbing in both of the rooms I booked. I would find leaks/puddles of water outside of the bathroom in the morning, and there was also a pungent odor upon entering the room itself throughout the entire duration of our stay. It is important to note that the front desk/concierge closes at night so if you would like to contact someone regarding such issues, you must do so during the day.

What an amazing property! First, the location, just inside the old city walls & a short walk from the main square, was on point!! The staff was welcoming & helpful, rooms super clean & comfortable. Don’t miss the traditional Haman offered by their spa. The spa was a lovely setting to relax after the chaos of the old city streets. Definitely plan to stay again, hopefully soon.

A pretty decent place to stay overall. The air conditioning wasn't working and we were told this upon check in, which didn't really leave us any other choice to go and find another hotel. However they provided fans for the room and given the structure of a Riad it wasnt really an issue as the room did not overheat. The staff were helpful and not overly intrusive. I'd recommend using the spa which is beautiful and you receive a free hammam with your stay. The Riad also has a car, which you should book instead of a taxi, it's much better value than taking a taxi.

Beautiful Moroccon riad, conveniently located near the gate to the Medina. Service was excellent with friendly staff. The only setback was no air conditioning. The woman who checked me in claimed it's only been broken a week, but she told each of my friends a different story. She also lied to my friend about other things.

Best Riad, Above and beyond
Riad Elisa is a gorgeous riad located in the heart of the medina. The rooms and the courtyard are elegant with intricate carvings and quintessential Moroccan architecture that will mesmerize you. Most importantly Loubna and her team at the riad go above and beyond to make your stay convenient and provide you with a true luxurious experience. The staff is highly courteous and accommodating. Their hammam and spa experience is undoubtedly one of the best in Marrakech. It is peaceful and quaint once you step inside and provides a solace from the busy souks nearby. Would highly recommend.

There is no roof terrace , no outside area to sit and relax and no pool . 3 times the price of anywhere else with better facilities we didn’t stay more than 30 minutes despite our 3 night booking !! And they refused to refund us a penny !!

Beautiful riad in the medina.
I loved this riad. The location is perfect. Walking distance to the medina and souks. As soon as you walk in from the crazy street you can feel peace an quiet. I love how all the walls are white. It gives it a beautiful feel. Also the staff is very friendly and attentive. We got upgraded and they let us check out late since our flight was late at night. I would recommend this place.

Booked 2 rooms as we were 2 couples staying in Marrakech for a long weekend. We arrived around 8.45pm at the Riad and received a warm welcome. Check-in took roughly 30 minute as it was done by the "security guard" (seemed dodgy, but can be trusted), who's the man who does everything at the Riad. The same person welcomes you in the morning to serve you breakfast in the dirty winter jacket he wore all night doing security. I highly doubt he washed his hands prior to serving in the freezing cold "restaurant". Our beautiful room was smelling badly after sewage, which was disappointing, but bed, deco and bathroom were great. Shame the Swimming pool is too cold to bathe in and the Spa overpriced in comparison with most other local Spa's in Marrakech. Overall still happy, with the Riad, especially due to it's location.

Ruined our experience in Marrakech. Beware!!
Let me start saying that we have high expectations on this hotel and that it is actually a good one in terms of facilities. However, we had the worst experience In more than 15 years travelling with my wife. I booked and paid our room for twi nights stating on new years eve (three months in advance in a NON Refundable rate). However when we arrived the hotel the lady told us that our reservation was not found. When I called Expedia they said me that the reservation was paid and the hotel was overbooked. We had to spent more than 3 hours looking for another option and the city was fully booked (we had to paid a lot of money for a 3 star hotel). Finally we spent the last night in the Riad. Apart from the refund of the night we werent allowed to stay we did not received any other compesation. That's te way Riad Elisa welcomed us to Morocco. Thank you Riad Elisa for ruining our new years eve.

Beautiful historic Riad in a great location
We would recommend staying at Riad Elisa! It's beautiful, calm and relaxing - exactly what you need after a day exploring Marrakesh's delights. The location couldn't be better as it's just inside the Medina, walkable to many tourist sites and restaurants and near to a taxi rank. The staff at Riad Elisa are absolutely wonderful people - they will arrange any guides/cars you need and really go out of their way to try and make your stay pleasant - e,g, the chef created a delicious New Year's Eve Morrocan banquet just for the vegan in our party. We had a few problems with one of the bathrooms and we could only connect to the WiFi in the courtyard & dining room (no hardship as the garden courtyard is stunning!) which is the only reason why we have rated facilities as OK. The massage in the spa was heavenly too.

Beautiful Riad, but not ready to call itself a 5 star hotel. Lobby bar still under construction. Roof terrace sill under construction. When everything is up and running it will be a great place, but again, its just not ready. As it stands now its a 3 star hotel.

The riad was gorgeous and very clean, especially keeping in mind it's all white look. The spa was awe worthy! The staff was very attentive and was great at remembering our requests and seeing them through. Easily set up great restaurant reservations, and English speaking driver, and excursions with out any issue or having to ask twice!

Lovely Riad in an ideal location for the old town
This was our first trip to Marrakech and we were mainly interested in the historical monuments and souks so we found the Riad Elisa to be in an ideal location to visit all round the old town. We visited the major historical sites like the Badi palace and Bahai palace in the first couple of days. It is also worth visiting the Marjorelle gardens which were very nice. The Souks are a bit maze like and you have to be careful to not show too much interest until you are sure you want something as otherwise the sellers will pester you a lot. Also be prepared to haggle, we generally found it best to start at a third of the original price. The hotel staff were always on hand to help and advise, especially Fatima and Lubna who arranged excursions to the Atlas mountains (visiting an old Berber village with a lovely waterfall about 1 hours drive from Marrakech) and Essouria (old coastal town with a lovely beach about 2 1/2 hours drive from Marrakech). They also have a lovely hammam and spa and the restaurant serves good food.

Top notch amenities & service. Free upgrade when we got there. All the staff was knowledgeable of the surrounding area. The restaurant is a hidden gem. We saved dinner there for the last night & wished we would’ve eaten there more often. There is a coffee cafe at the gate entrance to the street that has excellent cappuccinos & croissants. 3 minute walk to the souks & 5 minutes to the square. We will definitely be staying here again on our return.

Hidden gem
What a beautiful Riad! Even though I saw the pictures before I arrived, it really is beautiful in real life. We stayed 4 nights in the ground floor duplex which was very cosy. Loubna is a credit to this Riad. She explained everything we needed to know about Marrakech, excursions, restaurants, the Riad, directions. She made us feel very welcomed and assisted with our queries where necessary. Due to our visit in Nov the nights are cold and the Riad could do with an extra warm blanket at night. The spa is great although pool is cold! Our hamman and massage session was absolutely out of this world, total relaxation! Highly recommend this! Our room was cleaned daily, the shower was lush and our towels changed daily too. Bed was very comfy . The views out into the courtyard was peaceful. It's amazing how quiet it was inside the Riad compared to the hustle and bustle outside. The other staff members were also very nice, Norman and the younger guy who's name I can't remember were lovely. The Riad is in a fantastic location with walking distance to the square, Ben Yousaf Madrasa, Le jardin secret , the souks, Majorelle gardens, the museum and many restaurants and cafe's. It's a pity we couldn't stay longer. However I hope on my return to stay here again.

Relaxing Riah In Central Marrakech Location
Riah Elisa is a lively peaceful hotel about 5 mins walk from the main square. Decked or on white marble throughout it provides a cool and tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle that is just outside. Staff are extremely friendly and accommodating, to the point that they offered the extended use of the rooms until late afternoon without our asking. We only ate one at the hotel, dinner on the first night. It was good food, but we felt the need to try different places outside. Accommodation is clean and comfortable. We didn't have slippers in the room, and unfortunately the hotel didn't have any more available sounds minor until the realise the marble floors are cold! But so only a minor quibble. The street is quite busy outside, as are most of the lanes, but at night this makes it feel safe. They also mean the doors at all times which adds to security. Luggage will need to be carried from the main street to the Riad, which is only a 2 min walk. Our taxi driver from the airport kindly rang through on the way and they were there with a trolly to meet us. Would definitely recommend as a great place to stay.

Beautiful riad with a few issues
The night before arriving at the riad we were told that the air conditioning was not working and that we could find somewhere else to stay (this would have been very difficult at this point and like most people we had spent a long time comparing accommodation options). This issue was not brought up when we arrived at the riad and there was no apology offered in person. We were however offered a fan, which was very effective if a little noisy. The hotel staff were always very happy to help during our stay and clearly wanted to make sure we had a pleasant time. The riad is quite breathtaking and always smells lovely (like orange blossoms- my favourite!). We stayed in the duplex, which had a lounge area and toilet downstairs and a double bed and toilet/shower room upstairs. The room was decorated beautifully in a modern Moroccan style. Everything was finished to a high standard. We chose to have our window open for most of the stay as the room could get quite stuffy. This was mostly fine other than when the hotel staff’s very loud ringtone would go off several times in the morning in the central courtyard. We experienced the 7 course taster menu on our first night - all delicious and the service was impeccable - I would highly recommend you try this if staying at Riad Elisa. During our first day we did a lot of exploring around souks and came back to a much needed foot massage in the spa (one of which was complimentary!). We also had a hamman and massage - heavenly!

Riad Elisa is even more beautiful than in the pictures! I had an amazing stay at Riad Elisa, Loubna was very helpful and she ensured my entire trip was perfect! She set up my tours, dinner reservations, drivers/guides and spa appointments. Hamid, my driver, was awesome! He took me to the Atlas Mountains and was always punctual, sweet and available to pick me up. I will be back to Riad Elisa!!! The staff went above and beyond to make my trip wonderful, thank you!!!

Good Riad
The Riad is ok but not a 5 star, maximum I will say it's a 4 star ... however the spa is high quality and the people are really nice
