Dales place was a super comfortable jumping off place for our Marquette adventures. It was really nice to have just a short walk to the beach as well as breweries and restaurants. Was very comfortable for our two kids too. Would definitely stay again!
We stayed 3 nights. This nicely decorated home offered nice linens, plenty of towels and washcloths, and a well-appointed kitchen. The location is walkable to downtown. Would stay here again!
We really enjoyed our stay here. Dale's place is close to everything, it was easy to walk or bike to the lake or places to eat. The house was lovely and the kitchen was well-stocked for cooking. We'd definitely stay here again!
We visit the area almost every year and enjoyed the location of this home! A short walk or bike ride to the beach and bike path, or go into town by Third street. The three bedrooms fit our family well too.

This was a perfect place due to the location being close to the beach, downtown and NMU. We were able to walk everywhere.
We had another great stay at our favorite VRBO house in Marquette. Comfortable, clean, quiet. The perfect place to relax on your trip to visit our favorite NMU student (my daughter).
Our host was more than accommodating to a special request we had during our stay. The house was a perfect size for our extended family and the location is great for walking to 3rd street. We will definitely stay here again. We highly recommend this property.
Nicely decorated and had everything you need for a comfortable stay. Great location just 3 blocks from Superior and 3 blocks to 3rd Street. Also easy walk to downtown and NMU. Great access to the bike paths. Quiet neighborhood with a cool backyard to unwind.
This house is exactly what we needed for our time in the UP with our kids and it was our second year spending the week at this property. We loved being in town in Marquette, convenient to the beach, breweries, shopping, and the farmers market. We enjoy that it is close to the bike path along the lake and several parks. Great place!
It was perfect for our weekend! Close to campus, walking distance from restaurants/breweries and pubs. Plenty of sitting room inside with a very useful kitchen. Great little backyard that we enjoyed with the spring like weather.
Our family stayed at the house while visiting our daughter, a student at NMU. The space was perfect! Comfortable bedrooms with plenty of room to gather in the living room or share a meal. Kitchen is well stocked.
We had a blast! Our twin 3 year old boys had a ball playing in the fenced in back yard. The beach was breath taking and in walking distance. We will for sure be back!!
This well-kept older house has all of the modern amenities that you would need. All applianes were superior; the bathroom was clean; the decor was well-done; and there were plenty of closets.
There are, however, stairs to the three bedrooms. No bedrooms on mainfloor...where there is a bathroom.
My wife and I are both graduates of NMU. This was the perfect house to be centrally located for all things Marquette. Walking distance to campus, 3rd street, Lake Superior, and Downtown. House was stocked with all the essentials, beds were comfortable for our family of 5, and the kitchen was perfect for making a few home-made meals. If you're looking for a good old townhouse to rent, walking distance from all areas of town, this is it.
Beautiful home "near" town....We had a great time, was in town for a wedding. We walked everywhere, did not rent a car, but was a good walk to the restaurants and bars --- Wear sensible shoes ;-) If I had it to do again I would have rented a car. Also -- was in the reviews before that the house only has 1 bathroom. We had to take turns getting ready, but knew that going in.
My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this house in Marquette. The kitchen was well equipped. There were plenty of towels. The house was a comfortable temperature with plenty of shade. We enjoyed sitting on the patio while planning our day. This place is close to many wonderful Marquette attractions. It is easy to walk to many restaurants. We enjoyed visiting Presque Isle Park, Black Rocks, Sugarloaf Mountain and Lakenenland. We also took a day trip to the Pictured Rocks Lakeshore which is a very easy drive. I also walked to the beach and took walks along the paved path nearby which takes you past the Lighthouse. There was a little neighborhood grocery shop nearby for quick necessities. The covered parking spot off the road was wonderful. We would love to return to this spot in Marquette as we ran out of time to experience more of what Marquette has to offer. This was an amazing spot! The neighborhood itself is very quiet and the residents we encountered were friendly.
