"Nice clean room, bathroom was above average, breakfast was below average but the evening meal was way above average well cooked, i went for a meal on the Indian menu. "

"Our room No 5 was big and very comfortable with good facilities. The inclusion of breakfast in the room was a nice thoughtful addition. We fully enjoyed the accommodation. The plumbing in the ensuite was a problem as we couldn't get the shower to provide a hot (or even lukewarm) shower by either of the lever or tap controls. The sink however provided very hot water and cold water ok, though if the sink stopper was pushed down it wouldn't come back up to empty the water in the basin. The stopper linkage mechanism below the basin needed adjustment to open it again. Parking in the road outside the Rooms was always full, and the car park along the road looked quite small initially. However, we discovered it continued across the road with many more parking spaces. Each day the first 2 hours were free of charge and daily charges thereafter very reasonable. Free parking overnight from 6pm. 1 final point: it should be pointed out the rooms are all on 1st floor and stair access is quite steep & narrow. We assisted a lone gentleman with a case and walking stick down the stairs so he could hold the stair rail (on either side). I hope this helps - no major criticisms at all as a very enjoyable and comfortable stay! Thank you! "

"We hired this large house from Cottages.com (it was the best price there).The house itself is superb, full of the character and charisma that you would expect from a country home.The beds, showers and facilities are clean and very comfy.The kitchen is amazing with an AGA and separate stand alone oven.There is a large dining room, a breakfast table and also the games room.The best room is the large hall with fire place perfect for the trip gathering.Its an idilic location, quiet and peaceful with many country side walks and public footpaths from basically your doorstep.Michelle from Pattiswick Hall estates was super helpful, all the required information was all in the pack.Overall a fantastic experience, we will definitely be going again.Thank you"

"Check in was quite late (5pm) so we paid for an early one, and check out was very early (9am) so we paid for a late one (10am) I think 3am check in and 10am check out is quite the norm, so the times should be changed and not an extra payment incurred.Clean lodge, clean hot tub lovely bedding, nice to have a few bits and bobs in the lodge on arrival, like dishwasher tablets and washing machine tablets, along with tea towel and washing up liquid. Cupboard's full of all the utensil's you need and loads of glassware.Helpful staff at reception. Will defiantly stay again :)"
