"This beachfront hotel was our stop after a long, hilly bike ride from Palafrugell. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable for two tired cycle tourists. Note, they are pretty much the only restaurant open in the area during November for dinner. Much to our surprise. The buffet on offer was good with lots of variety to choose from. The same goes for breakfast buffet, which was delicious fuel for our ride to Barcelona. Kudos to the two waitstaff who were working hard keeping up with the many people dinning there. The other note, there is room in the little luggage storage for bikes, but you have to carry your bikes up the outdoor stairs to the lobby."

"Great room, clean and balcony was perfect. We used the pool as well, over all a great experience. About 10 minute walk to the main hub of Blanes, very accessible"

"It's definitely an old hotel but the overall atmosphere is nice. Very lively in the lobby and around the (nice) pool because of the young travellers. Only minutes rom the beach but a 30 minutes walk from the "main" strip."

"Furnishings and equipment are very basic, outstanding views of Blanes, especially from the balcony of which the bedrooms and living area open up to, taxis very difficult to organise, you are a 40 min walk away from Blanes which includes a steep walk. Pool is small and very deep so not ideal for young families. The BBQ is situated away from the pool so not ideal. As the house is in a residential area you hear constant dogs barking, it was relentless (through the day and night- dogs live outside in kennels). The driveway in the property is unusable due to overgrown bushes- this means given the footprint of the house you have to carry your shopping down a flight of stairs. Consort supermarket which is a 5 min drive is ideal, this is on the outskirts of Blanes, very close to the villa, definitely not walkable."

"The flat is located on the western end of the beachfront which is a short walk to the town. There are markets and places to eat nearby. The flat is comfortable and has wonderful views. Think about parking ahead of time, as you must pick up the key to access the parking garage, which is made clear in the information you are provided by the host. You should read that carefully ahead of time. The parking spot can be difficult to negotiate with a larger vehicle. Overall, recommended. "
