Nice beach escape

The place was nice, right on the beach. We paid for the sea-view room, which is definitely worthwhile. Only thing is smoking is allowed in the corridors so it smelt funny in the corridors but inside the room was fine.

The staff was very kind and courteous and had an excellent master of the English language. They accommodated every request expediently and with a smile. She (I wish I could remember her name) went out of her way to ensure we understood the bus schedule and could get to the bus stop. When we needed a taxi, they appeared within minutes. The breakfast buffet was to die for and I loved the fresh coffee machine. I would love to stay here again!

Reception was empty when we arrived, around 18:30/19h. And during breakfast the service staff was a bit ''raw''...maybe they were tired, and we hit the buffet at 40 min before closing, maybe because of that, the weren't in the mood to smile and be serviceable. But, Overall We Had a wonderful experience, the place was comfortable, clean, quiet, in front of the sea, the balcony it's spacious, the air conditioner stops automatically when open the balcony door and the shower it's awesome. Very recommendable for couples or two friends.

Great location with excellent view.

Comfortable hotel right on the seafront. Great view from the balcony (some rooms face an inner courtyard) so pay the extra! No open air pool but there is one as part of the spa i the basement which is chargeable. However, the beach is over the road. On site parking is €18 but its only €6 over the road in a blue bay. 10 mins walk into the main area of Blanes along the promenade. Breakfast was very good and the staff were excellent.

Very nice sea view, low availability for coffee

Nice place next to the beach, great view from the room with sea view but the balcony door could unfortunately not be opened. Good service in the reception but breakfast service started very late (7h30) and since we were on a business trio we had to leave earlier. No breakfast bag could be arranged and no coffe was available. A coffee machine in the room or coffee availability elsewhere in the hotel would have been very Mich appreciated.

The thing I didn't like it was because of the noise. I had noises 3 hours in a row at night. I informed the reception desk and the situation was the same. The second day was the cleaning woman at the morning. She did a lot of noise just moving beds and closing very hard the doors. I also asked her to be a little less noisy. She continue at the same noisy level. As a conclusion it is not quiet place at all. The best part are the views.

We had a pleasant check in but then reported ( to a different front desk staff) that our a/c was not blowing cold air. She offered no help or alternative room. After a hot and uncomfortable night we had to check out a day early which was no refundable because of the hot conditions in our room and the front desk showed no concern and offered no solution or alternative ( though the hotel was not fully booked). Very poor customer service.
