"Spacious room, comfortable bed. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was good (cereals, toast, pancakes, fruits/yoghurt). The site is quiet and cosy, close to the Main Street which is perfect for dining. Stay here!"

"Absolutely magical place, surrounded by nature and full of charm. ❤️ I booked a room because I wanted to enjoy a peaceful night away and disconnect from everything, and it was exactly what I needed. The self-check-in was easy, and when I arrived at my room, I was blown away by how beautiful it was. The bathroom was absolutely stunning too! Breakfast in the dining room was such a lovely experience, with the most beautiful surroundings. I’m honestly in love with this place and would definitely come back. A little piece of paradise in Margaret River. ❤️"

"Great location, nice and tidy, could do with a bit of maintenance, however very clean. Wish warmer blankets were provided as the heater isn’t able to warm the entire apartment. Would stay again."

Margaret River Accommodation Guide

As one of the finest wine regions of Australia, Margaret River has a lot to offer for the wine connoisseur. Book a wine tour with the visitor centre or buy a few bottles at a cellar door. Vasse Felix, Leeuwin, and Voyager are only a couple of the better-known wineries of the area. There are many others of equal quality to explore. If you are not a big fan of the fermented grape, there’s much more to discover in the area. Many specialty farms cater for different gourmet experiences, you can go on whale watching tours in winter, or paddle a canoe down the river in summer. If you like bushwalking, the stunning scenery of ancient forests and secluded beaches will leave you in raptures.

Where to stay

Margaret River accommodation is as diverse as the area. There are plenty of self-catered apartments and cottages, farm stays and bed-and-breakfasts in the area. Margaret River hotels tend to be small and located in town, as are many of the bed and breakfasts. Pet friendly accommodation is also available. Some wineries have rooms to let, and secluded luxury accommodation can be found in the forests and along beaches.

When to visit

Winter can be cool and rainy in the area. Luckily, many of the cottages have wood fires to keep you warm and cosy. If you visit in spring, be sure to go for a walk among the wildflowers Western Australia is famous for. Summer brings relief from the hotter temperatures of the rest of WA. Autumn is the prime time for hiking, the start of the surfing season, and harvest time at the wineries.
