"Overall our stay was fantastic. It’s a typical beach home - there will be a bit of sand, weathered wood, and a bit of rust on metal objects, but all in all a great house. It’s exactly what I expected based on similar beach homes I’ve been to. Most of the beds are very comfortable, we found one that was pretty firm, but no complaints. Plenty of kitchen utensils, etc. there is an outside fridge near pool, and someone comes by quite a bit to rake and clean the sandy area. Other than a small hiccup on confusion regarding golf carts at our arrival (resolved quickly) everything was great. Ester is there to help and she will do what she can to help you have a great trip - easy communication via WhatsApp. I will say on location that there is a pretty long golf cart ride to town on what can be a very bumpy gravel road - probably 20 min. There are plenty of restaurants, bars and small markets nearby to meet your needs though if you don’t want to travel all the way to town. The plus side of being 20 min out is much less traffic. We went to town almost everyday so the road didn’t bother us much, we got used to it. The water is very shallow off the dock, not meant as a swimming area. Stick to the pool for that. Our tour guides were able to get their boats to the dock to pick us up though. Also, plenty of resorts and bars nearby that you can use their area to access the ocean if that’s what you are looking for. I would rent this house again without concern. "

"The resort was beautiful. The food was prepared beautifully and was delicious. The staff went above and beyond. We felt at home. We got food poisoning on day 4 (not from the resort) and the whole staff took care of us. From our pick up at the airport to transportation to the water taxi to the golf cart rental and extension….everything was taken care of. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. "My family of 12 all meet there and had a blast. Clean spacious house with plenty of privacy for the family. every bdrm had bthrm, perfect. roads are terrible from all the rain but it didnt stop us from having fun. You are in the tropics, expect bugs! ants, sand fleas, mosquitoes and cockroaches. if these bug you, go north to a cold climate. Caretaker and host, the best people around. Johnny excursion, unbelizable fun! "
