"More like a motel than a hotel. No one present upon arrival. We found a workman at the back who phoned someone to open up. Surly and unhelpful, although there is a restaurant no food served Sunday evening or Monday morning."

"Ein ehemaliges Jagdhaus wurde vor kurzem zu 4 ganz tollen Wohnungen ausgebaut. Ich habe schon mehrere sehr nette Gastgeber kennengelernt, aber noch nie jemanden, der mit so viel Freude und echter guter Laune diesen Job ausfüllt! Offensichtlich hat er sich seinen Traum erfüllt und kann es kaum glauben, wie schön alles geworden ist! Zum Frühstück gibt es Baguette, Schinken o.ä. vom lokalen Fleischer, mehrere leckere Käsesorten, selbstgemachte Marmelade und oft noch einen selbstgebackenen Kuchen....

The main house is beautiful (some renovation work is ongoing but is unobtrusive); our room was very comfortable; breakfast was very good; the swimming pool was fantastic and the welcome we received (from reception staff and from the owner and his wife) was very warm and friendly. We will return!"
