Great for families and wonderful peaceful location

We loved this hotel. It’s is very secluded in the forest and in close proximity to many of the Loire castle. Our family lived the swimming pool and the property. We had dinner at the restaurant which was very good. The breakfast as also very good but not a great value for the cost with a large family. I would highly recommend this location to my friends and family and would plan to stay her again.

Near the wonderful city of Blois. In the forrest with nice opportunities to walk, watch beavers and sheep. Overall good standard in the room. Good restaurant but breakfast was a little bit of disappointment. Safe parking. Prices are high.

Very nice accomodation travelling to Lacanau. We had a stop over here. Kids could swin in the heated pool while we were walking the fog in the nearby forest. Nice dining in the evening. Holiday had started already om the way there

The room was beautiful and amazing, perfect for a family of four or five. The dining option was alright and convenient if one does not want to leave the hotel but for the price paid, the food was nothing outstanding and the service was slow. The breakfast option was great although we were given false information by the receptionist that it was included in our booking so during checkout I was unpleasantly surprised with the extra amount. We had to ask for soap in the room as both the bottles in the shower and sink were empty. The door of the toilet could not be closed as there were these metal hangers on it. There wsa a rusty roller table by the sink that did not match the rest of the furniture. Overall, a good night's stay after visiting the nearby castle but maintenance is definitely needed.

Very comfortable and well appointed large rooms. Delicious buffet breakfast with lots of choices. Very nice and helpful staff. Hotel is located in a quiet area, a convenient base to move around to visit Blois, Chambord, chenonceau, Valencay and many other castles. Quite a few very nice and affordable restaurants in the villages within 5 to 7 Kim.

Lost somewhere in the green a magnificient écrin

Reception great, we were taken in charge fast, received all explanation needed as well as the receptionist conducting us to our room. Breakfast is well prepared and there's enough on the plates. I think the home made pastery is a plus. Quiet environment, hotel far from the main road and isolated between the woods, so if your looking for having big cities around forget it. The swimming is just a 4 star with heating so water was hot and you have view on the open Sky.

Magnificent hotel and staff

This hotel is a gem. It’s close to all the major chateaux but is situated in a beautiful forest. They had bikes for use that we enjoyed as a family. The room was beautiful, spacious, and clean. The power went out in the whole region unexpectedly due to an intense storm in the area. We had reservations for dinner, and they figured out how to make us a delicious dinner without power, set up a beautiful candle-lit table, and provided us electric candles for our room. The staff went above and beyond. It was an experience well never forget.

The property is beautiful and quiet. Staff is rude. No room service. No space at hotel to eat in restaurant. No take out. They tell you to go to town and it’s a drive. They don’t care about helping or making things comfortable. Not a 4⭐️

Une simple étagère en pin « brinquebalante » Une salle d’eau dont les joints bas de douche noircis Rien pour poser le savon ou shampooing dans la douche. Support boite de kleenex arraché Bref. Indigne d’un 4 étoiles Parking très bien Coût utilisation simple prise électrique ( et non chargeur spécial puissant ) pour recharger un véhicule hybride exorbitants 20€ !! Sinon le lieu est agréable en pleine nature

L’hôtellerie est excellente. En revanche, le restaurant est beaucoup trop cher pour ce qui est proposé. Le petit déjeuner en buffet très ordinaire est aussi trop cher.
