Very nice hotel in Michelstadt five miles outside of Marburg. Small farming village of 800 people. Nice walkable village. Great, reasonably priced restaurant at hotel. Staff friendly and helpful.

This hotel staff is not good They don’t clean room good i was their for 2weeks and they didnt exchange the towels. If you give them extra money they will do everything so hotel staff is bad. But restaurants staff are the best staff what I ever seen I have been dozens of hotel restaurants

The stay was amazing. We met friends at this hotel & had a great time. Hotel location was very beautiful & relaxing. The food at Emil's restaurant was excellent & so was yhe service.

Nice local hotel with good restaurant
Good local hotel with a nice restaurant. Breakfast for a small fee is ok, simple but no complaints. Complimentary mini bar is a very nice touch. No lift/elevator for upper floors, no issue for me but maybe for others it might be.

Overall, the staff was friendly and helpful. The biggest problem is that Hotels.com changed the booking from a breakfast included to breakfast not included between the time of booking and the check in.

Great comfort in good location
The room was quite spacious, comfortable and best was a sofa and cosy chair for lounging. Amazingly, there are many good books in the room, but pity, no time to read any of them! Very good shower, bathroom modern and clean, beds comfy. Breakfast was good. Restaurant is good home cooking, lovely outdoor seating in addition to cosy indoors. Can highly recommend for visiting Marburg, only about 15 minutes drive away.

1 night stay in Marburg
only a 1 night stay; hotel about 6 km from Marburg. Please note the hotel is closed on Sunday's: they have a 'mail-box' with your key and reservation info in an envelope. awesome view from our room; great water pressure in the shower; plenty of hot water. Most of Marburg is closed on Sunday's. we ate at "Touchdown's" restaurant. Hotel is highly recommended; breakfast is included

Great stay!
Good Hotel. Stayed here 3 nights. Good clean spacious rooms. Free mini bar in room plus free wifi though a bit hit and miss. Food excellent in restaurant. Friendly staff. Located in very quiet neighbourhood just outside main city centre.

The Hotel is a little bit outdated in terms of decor, but the place is amazing over all. the beds are comfortable, everything is clean and working, and the best this is the people, everyone is super friendly and ready to help. the hotel is in a nice quiet town, perfect to explore the surrounding area. It has plenty of free parking. the internet is ok, and the breakfast is plentiful and nice.

Family owned hotel in a small village maybe 5 miles from Marburg. Hotel was was ok, but mostly closed up due to Christmas holidays with only breakfast available. The bathroom smelled stale and the ventilation was not good. Also, the wifi connection from our room was very poor taking minutes to load a simple screen. A nice touch though was that the contents of the minibar were free. The room was nicely serviced each day. I guess it would be a pleasant enough place from Spring through Autumn, but I wouldn't recommend staying here off season unless one was looking for absolute peace and quiet bordering on complete boredom.

Great country hotel
Likely need a car if staying here as it is a bit out of Marburg centre being in Michelbach, but lovely country location with great breakfast, room and staff. No bars or entertainment in this area. Cab to Marburg from Eur10-17 depending.

Cute Hotel in quaint village outside of Marburg. The room was spotless, the front desk staff super helpful, and the food was great. Breakfast was included in our room cost as was a full buffet. Dinner in the restarant was great. Location was a bit more outside of Marburg than stated (seemed more like 7 miles vs 3 km) and buses are infrequent. But cabs and rideshares are reasonable. Take a walk around the town - cute farm buildings!

Der Self-Check-in ist mehr als dürftig. Trotz Geschäftsreise wird eine Kurtaxe berechnet, welche man nicht selbst entfernen kann. Es gibt keine Möglichkeit eine ausgedruckte Rechnung zu bekommen und zudem ist nicht klar wie man sein Hotelzimmer vor Ort bezahlen kann. Über die Telefonnummer ist kein Ansprechpartner zu erreichen. Im Zimmer befand sich ein Kinderbett, welches nicht angefragt wurde. Im Bad gibt es nur dürftige Beleuchtung und von den zwei Vorhaben Lampen geht gerade einmal eine. Der beworbenen Smart TV hat lediglich Dekorationscharakter, da er sich nicht zum Internet verbinden lässt und auch keine Sender zur Verfügung stehen. Das Zimmer ist soweit sauber verfügt allerdings nicht einmal über einen richtigen Kleiderschrank - merkwürdig bei einem Zimmer was für 3 Personen gedacht sein soll. Wenn man versucht im Restaurant nach Hilfe zu fragen ist man dort an der falschen Stelle, da die Mitarbeiter „nur für das Restaurant zu ständig sind und auch keinen Ansprechpartner haben“. Ich bin jetzt schon froh, wenn ich am Freitag wieder abreisen darf.

Sehr geehrter Gast, Schade, dass die BEwertung anonym erfolgte, so können wir es nicht nachvollziehen. Eine Kurtaxe berechnen wir nie, weder privat noch geschäftlich. Wir stellen im Monat rund 500 Rechnungen aus, gedruckt oder als pdf zugesendet, selbstverständlich klann man diese auch noch 10 Jahre nach Aufenthalt auf Anfrage erhalten. Unsere Rezeption ist von 06:30-21:00 Uhr immer bestzt und täglich resisen mehrer Gäste auch nach diesen Zeiten an. Unser Telefon ist 24h pro Tag zu erreichen. Einen Smart-TV bewerben wir nicht und uns ist auch nicht bekannt, dass ein TV regulär nicht funktionierte. Der Kleiderschrank ist offen, aber sicher ausreichend. Natürlich kann immermal etwas sein, aber wir kümmern uns immer schnell um Gästeanliegen. Alles in allem leider keine objektiv korrekte Bewertung und wir hätten uns auch gerne um Ihre Anliegen gekümmert, wenn diese iorgendwann an uns getragen worden wären.

Das Hotel hat meine Erwartungen leider nicht erfüllt. Die Zimmer sind mit sehr alten Möbeln ausgestattet und könnten sauberer sein. Der gesamte Ort wirkt vernachlässigt. Außerdem gibt es kein WLAN im Hotel; stattdessen wird nur das kostenlose WLAN der Stadt angeboten, zu dem ich jedoch keine Verbindung herstellen konnte. Das hat mir große Schwierigkeiten bereitet, da ich von zu Hause aus arbeite und eine stabile Internetverbindung benötige. Leider ist die Gegend so abgelegen, dass ich nicht einmal mein eigenes Internet nutzen konnte.

Mycket trevlig personal både i reception och frukostmatsal. Fin frukost med bra variation. Trevliga lokaler och fint hotellrum! Parkeringen blev tyvärr full på kvällen men vi hitta parkeringsplats nära. Tyvärr renoverades vägen till Marburg och det tog därför ovanligt lång tid att ta sig dit med bil.
