  • Our quaint 4 season home has all the amenities you need for a getaway by Lake Erie. Can potentially sleep 15. 1 spacious master suite with queen size bed and large master bathroom with walk-in shower, 2 upstairs bedrooms each with a queen sized bed, 1 upstairs bedroom with 6 single bunks great for the kiddos, upstairs bonus room with smart TV and futon that can sleep 1 more if necessary, 1 full bathroom upstairs with shower, 1 full bathroom downstairs off the main living space with jacuzzi tub and shower, spacious living and dining area with smart TV and game area, 1st floor sun porch with a private feel and queen size sofa bed, fully equipped kitchen, alcove dining area off kitchen with a Seek-and-find" painted on the surrounding walls, spacious side porch, generous parking that will allow up to 4 cars.

Very Clean & great patio & porch area. Plenty of space for everyone to do there own thing. Nice kitchen & seating and 3 full baths help accommodate your stay. Easy drive to anything would need.

Weekend wedding

We enjoyed a stay . We were in area for a wedding . With all the rain it was nice to be able to relax here instead of a hotel room . House is very comfy and decorated amazingly .

Wonderful Family Girls Weekend

The Hummingbird Nest was the perfect rental for our annual Girls Trip with 3 generations of our family. The house is very clean and well appointed with everything you could possibly need for a home away from home. Plenty of things to do at the house, and it has a great location for all the local sightseeing. Booking, check-in and check-out were very easy, and communication with the owner was great. We had a lot of fun and would definitely stay again!

We loved our stay at the Hummingbird Inn! The primary bathroom was so nice! My mother loved it and said the primary bed was very comfortable. We all enjoyed the picture hunt in the dining room. The kitchen was beautiful & had everything we needed. There were plenty of places to relax and have moments of privacy in & outside of the house. We enjoyed the fire pit as well. The deck had a very nice table and comfortable seating. We enjoyed our coffee out there in the morning.Only complaint was 1 of the bedrooms upstairs had no AC. It was quite toasty even when running the ceiling fan. Overall, our stay in Marblehead was marvelous and we highly recommend the Hummingbird Inn.

Cute and convenient

The house had plenty of indoor and outdoor spaces, with 4 bedrooms and 3 baths. Our oldest granddaughter loved the kids room with 3 bunk beds!

Fairytale House

Thus house is wonderful. The owners have been very creative with every feature. We plan to come back and stay longer next time. Our adult children loved all of the games and space in the home. Plenty of room for everyone.

Charming, Cozy Lake Cottage

This is truly a whimsical cozy retreat that is full of wonderful surprises. From the hand painted hidden picture find in the dining room to the game nook and toy room. Our host was always available to answer questions and eagerly willing to do whatever was necessary to ensure our stay was as pleasant as possible. A lifetime of sweet memories were made here this past week and we wouldn’t hesitate to return for a future visit.

Kid Friendly

We had a whole crew of kids ranging from 3-13 and they all loved the stay. They loved sleeping in the bunks together and playing the games the house had. We were a little concerned with how hot the house was when we arrived but after turning on all the window ACs it cooled down nicely, even the rooms that didnt have the window units. Definitely a fun weekend trip for all of the cousins, the kids already want to go back!

They thought of everything!

This house was nothing short of amazing!! The hosts left no stone unturned. Incredibly clean, impeccably decorated with charm in every room!! One of the highlights for our family was all of the games provided and the Hide snd Seek game in the Lemon Room. It is incredibly close to Lakedide as well, which was a huge plus!! My whole family wants to return again next year!! If you book this house you WILL NOT regret it😀

Lovely well-restored older home

Clean trim environment. Of special note, the “wallpaper” is actually painted on by a skillful artist. Our family loved the challenge to look for 35 items hidden among the lemons and berries in the breakfast room. AC from 5 different window units kept place comfortable despite outside temps in 90s. Well equipped kitchen. Plenty of room for our 4 adults and 3 teenagers. Adjacent Chautauqua village accessible by free 2 hour passes. Ferries to local islands within close driving distance. Especially liked Kelley Island.

Loved our Stay!

The house was so lovely and charming. All the little details were so much fun for our guests ranging in age from 2-84! The lemon room and seek and find was a real hit, the kids loved looking for all the items with grandparents. The first floor master was convenient for my grandparents who would struggle with stairs. The games, trivia books, puzzles made for some fun times! While we did go out to eat for most meals we made dinner and breakfast in the kitchen and had everything we needed to do so. We spend a lot of time in Lakeside, enjoyed twin oast, antique shops. The house was great to get back to for the baby to nap and movies at the end of a fun day. I would definitely rent again!

We enjoyed our stay at the Hummingbird inn. What a cute and cozy place! Beautifully decorated. Kids had a blast playing and finding entertainment. Porch was great for morning coffee, listening to birds and enjoying the breeze. Plenty of space for everyone. Kitchen well equipped. Lemon dining room was awesome entertainment. Close to a lot of places. We enjoyed African safari zoo, lighthouse, park, Kelley’s island. Lots to do. We have been to Marblehead couple of times and will be back. Thanks for keeping this place so immaculate!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Hummingbird Inn! The house was lovely and very clean! So many fun things to do inside the house, from games to the seek and find in the lemon room. The location was just perfect! There were many shops and restaurants close by to choose from. The Put-In-Bay ferry was also close. We highly recommended staying here!
