"Property was as stated except no hot tub. Shower was cold. Room very basic and clean. Needs new mattress. Pool was very nice. For the price it was just fine. Very rural area but the beaches are supreme. Host Gary is a nice guy."

"This is a great little lodge, near to local, beautiful beaches. AC, hot water and pool, and full outdoor kitchen access are welcome amenities. I had some trouble finding it, but that was more operator error. Gary responded quickly to my questions when lost. Must visit playa San Juanillo for sunset, and Playas Frijolar and Coco are beautiful with a great Tiki Bar."

"Small, cozy, friendly, quiet....we stayed for a month in the jungle of Guanacaste with Gary and his dog, Wally!
The pool is wonderfully shady in the afternoons, Gary is a warm and friendly host, helpful and kind.
We were looking for someplace near to beaches, great sunsets, and no crowds....meeting the locals, shopping the local markets, etc.
This is the perfect spot to just sit back and relax."

"I stayed at Nakanku Lodge from mid January to mid February 2024 accompanied by my little Maltese dog, Lulu. Everything was wonderful! The tropical garden setting was beautiful. I loved the pool and easy proximity to beaches. The outdoor kitchen was so fun as it generated opportunities for community and conversations with other guests. Gary was a super host! Hope to return next winter! Pura vida!"

"No me dejaron ingresar a la propiedad, el anfitrión no se hace responsable, aún espero el rembolso, me tuve que regresar del lugar ya que no se pudo ingresar y nadie se hace responsable
La empresa Vrbo tampoco se hace responsable por el alojamiento y no responden doble el rembolso
Muy mal por parte de Expedía actuar de esta manera
Nunca recomendaría ese alojamiento es muy mejor y nadie responde al no dejar ingresar "
