Most amazing family vacation!

My family absolutely loved our stay. The staff was so welcoming and the chef made us the most delicious food. Everyone (6 adults & 5 kids) was comfortable and had enough space to be together without driving each other crazy. The view was incredible, the pool was the perfect temperature, and the beach was glorious! I highly recommend getting the golf cart to get around quickly. We loved walking around the community and visiting the local monkey neighbor. Stand-up paddle boarding on the last day was the final touch to a great vacation. We would definitely come back. Thank you for a beautiful Christmas we will never forget!

We rented this villa for 5 days with two other couples and were beyond impressed. All of us have travelled a great deal, and this villa was by far, one the nicest places we have stayed in. Our private chef, Ofelia and our driver, Luis spoiled us every day. The food was amazing and was prepared and presented so beautifully. Luis was at our beckon call whenever we needed him. If we had to think of one area of improvement it would be wifi strength. At times it was challenging to work online with inconsistent wifi. We also have to thank Nelly for her prompt and thorough attention to our booking. We will be back. AMAZING!!!!!!

Amazing home, beautiful view and wonderful service

This truly is a beautiful home. We were a group of seven adults and our expectations were exceeded not only by the home itself but by the level of service provided by staff. The bedrooms were stunning, open areas were very comfortable (both in and out of the sun) and the meals were outstanding. We were always asked to choose our meals but found it easier to simply go with suggestions made by the head cook. We did not choose to hire driver for entire stay, but used them on occasion and used local taxis as needed. Enjoyed day trips to Colima, Barre De Navidad and golfing in Club Santiago. Markets were fun and we felt very safe for entire 12 day stay. The location of the home makes it a bit of a difficult walk to the La Punta Beach Club but we were allowed to use the golf cart attached to the house and this made it a lot easier to get to the beach for a few afternoons. Having said that, we spent far less time at the beach than we anticipated because the pool (and view) was amazing. This was our first villa experience and would not hesitate to do it again.

Amazing location, great staff, nice home

I stayed in this home for 3 weeks at the end of December 2021 with family and friends. I would recommend this vacation rental however there were some pros and cons to be aware of prior to booking. Here's my summary Pros: - La Punta ia absolutly the best community! It is very well maintained and georgeous. We all loved it and will definitly be back. We went out every morning and walked all the way down to the private beach and back up to the house for exercise. If you can't walk hills, make sure you rent the golf cart. - The house is exactly as the pictures show and has a beautiful open layout for eveyone to visit comfortably in the central seeting area - Nice big rooms for eveyone to have their own space and privacy when they want it. - Great view of the bay that provided a spectacular view of fireworks on new years eve. - Amazing staff (Ofelia and Linda) that were extemely helpful. Even though they spoke little English and we spoke little Spanish we managed to communicate. Ofelia was a great chef and was extemely accomodating for food allergies. - Nice office that my daughters used every night since there was no wifi in their bedroom (note, there's no printer) - The onsite laundry was very nice to have available - Master bedroom is huge with a big bathroom, walkin closet and a comfy sofa. However it is the only room with a smart TV so when anyone wanted to watch a movie on Netflix or Prime (couldn't get Disney app on the TV) they had to use the bedroom. Cons: - Front entrance was not secure like most homes in La Punta. There was a big gap at the front door that anyone could fit through and get into the home. - There was no safe and no way to lockup valubles if you want to go out for the day when the staff are not around. - Wifi is not available in 4 of the 5 bedrooms - This home is very nice but starting to show it's age. Little things kept breaking like front door handle, garage door coming off it's rails, pipes under kitchen sink broke, lights not working - Beds are very very hard. - Small bedroom with two single beds smelled very musty - Although I was there for 3 weeks I did not see or hear from the property manager the entire time. I did hear from the rental agent (Nelly) a couple times and she helped us secure a golf cart which was really appreciated and we used every day. - Activity room did not have a smart TV and the tredmill was very old and didn't work well - Taxis were difficult to secure from town to LaPunta

Amazing!!!

Our stay at the Villa was AMAZING. We were impressed from the moment we walked in. The property is clean and well kept. It looks better than in the pictures! The location is perfect. The view from the terrace is stunning during the day and night. The Villa is located in a gated community, so the surroundings feel very safe. The service provided by the staff at the property was excellent. Ofelia, Lupita and Diego made us feel like we were at home. They were in charge of the cooking and housekeeping chores. Groceries were bought every day and reimbursed everyday. The food was delicious. No need to stay at an all-inclusive hotel anymore! The beach is 5 minutes away, but did not spend much time there because the water was cold and we preferred to stay at the Villa. Stores are close by within a few minutes driving. Overall, this was one of the best vacations I’ve had so far. I would definitely plan to stay here again and would recommend to family and friends. Nelly, thanks so much for coordinating everything so smoothly!

Lap of luxury vacation

Wow! Seven of us spent 12 nights here and everything was spectacular! The view and the setting were lovely. The villa itself was so luxurious and comfortable. The only negative was the distance from the beach, but there was a beautiful infinity pool overlooking the ocean and we were also given the use of a golf cart if we did want to go. Besides everything was so wonderful that we didn't want to leave. The staff was one of the best parts. Ofelia and Josefina were great! There wasn't anything they wouldn't do for us. All in all, I would recommend this lovely place wholeheartedly.

FABULOUS!

We had a wonderful stay in Manzanillo, we loved our stay at Villa Neruda most notably the staff there, they were so wonderful and such a delight to share the week with, they went over and above in every way and we felt right at home, the meals were outstanding. We utilized the services of Freddy and our driver Daniel did an outstanding job, we thoroughly enjoyed all of the excursions we took, the kids liked him so much that they went to one of Daniel’s soccer games. A big note of thanks to Nelly for her help and guidance in this process, overall our vacation was FABULOUS! Giselle

Another Wonderful Trip!

Hi Nelly Just a quick note to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay at Villa Neruda, the staff was so kind and attentive and I greatly appreciated the accurate accounting of expenses, much more detailed than last year at Casa Rafaella. Alejandra is an excellent cook and we loved her specialties, the staff was very much in tune with our activities and were there to attend to all of our needs and yet they were very respectful of our privacy staying in the background, service was a little more formal than last year, but pleasantly so and not uncomfortable at all. The villa was beautifully manicured, the suites were very spacious and comfortable, so all in all, it was great, we even loved the airport, no lines, no crowds and our trips to and from the villa were perfectly scheduled, we are so glad we discover Manzanillo, I guess the short note is becoming too long! I could go on and on. Hope all is well with you.

Paradise found!

Thank you for the fantastic trip, it was like living a fantasy in paradise: first time to stay in such an exclusive place, first time to have a personal chef, housekeeper and personal chauffeur. It was so cool to not set an alarm, wake up to the sun rising in the east over a beautiful ocean, to be spoiled with freshly squeezed juices, to be served delicious meals and someone catering to our every need, we truly enjoyed too, going to the market with Ophelia and seeing the real Manzanillo and not just our unique exclusive neighborhood. The infinity pool was so relaxing, terrific to be able to just step into it right outside our room. Another treat was the beautiful private beach with all of its amenities. One would think the days might seem long, but they passed so rapidly, a television was never even turned on. We loved taking walks around the neighborhood and see the beautiful homes, all the greenery, palm trees, exotic flowers, and the hundreds bouganvilleas in vibrant colors. After many trips to Mexico we have finally found the place where we want to spend many vacations, we now understand why Manzanillo is called “The Best Kept Secret” ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Nelly, thank you again for a wonderful vacation. We enjoyed it very much, everything was perfect, beautiful home, wonderful staff, excellent food, we will definitely come back. Rick Crane
