"We were new to the Interlochen area, as we normally stay farther north, but we loved the convenience of the location to other areas in NoMi. I highly recommend Interlochen State Park, especially if you're traveling with your pups. The home itself was well laid out and SO warm and cozy. We stayed over Christmas and often didn't even need the heater on, which was nice. "Everything was perfect for our time there. It was beautiful looking out onto the lake. The other cottages next to ours were empty so we enjoyed the privacy and quiet. Kitchen was well stocked for the two of us."

"Property was gorgeous. Loved the views of the river while drinking my coffee on the deck or hanging out in the hot tub. Close to downtown traverse but also quiet and very private. Kitchen was well stocked. Furniture and beds were comfortable. Only complaints would be that the property was a little dusty and there was a lot of dog hair on the futon and blankets. Also, air did not work well when it got very humid one day. This was minor though. Would definitely stay here again"

"Loved our stay in this beautiful home. Our favorite part was the hot tub 😁. Very quiet neighborhood and relaxing. The house was very clean just needed to be dusted though. Could use some curtains or blinds though for a little privacy. But all in all it was wonderful. Would book it again for sure 😁. John is a very nice guy and fast to respond. The batteries were dead in the lock to get in the house when we arrived and we contacted john and he was to the house in 6min to let us in."

"The whole family enjoyed Carrie’s amazing house! We were a big group (10 people) but never felt cramped. The game room was a hit with the younger people in the group, but we all appreciated the 4 full bathrooms since we had everyone getting ready at the same time for our nephew’s wedding. We actually talked about trying to book again for sometime this summer! Great location, comfortable, fully-appointed house! Thank you, Carrie!"

"Selfishly I don't want to give a good review so it is available for us whenever we want it. Two hours after we got there a huge storm came through and knocked the power out. They were very responsive and kept us up to date when the power was going to be back on. We were very appreciative of that."

"Had a great time on Spider Lake at this large and very clean property. The hill down to the lake (or rather up hill to the house) was a bit challenging for some but was worth the climb every time! The host provided wood for fires on his patio firepit and down by the beach. He also provided ideas for things to do around the area and he was spot on! The local restaurant he recommended was great and the pontoon rentals and river tubing rentals were very accommodating. The house offers many things...

"This property served myself and my girlfriend perfectly for a little getaway! The home itself was awesome and cozy, the area was quiet which was enjoyable, the drive to Traverse City wasn’t bad at all if you’re looking for more to do.
