Apartments in Manteigas

"Don’t be put off by the rather careworn outside appearance ,inside the hotel is very smart. Staff were friendly and helpful, room large and well equipped, with a balcony. Easy to find and plenty of parking, though hotel is 6 km from town. Very good buffet breakfast included. Only downside was the restaurant. The food was very hit and miss, and we were overcharged for some drinks. There isn’t anywhere else locally to eat. It’s a good base for exploring the area, and we would stay again."

"No where to eat, when I ordered in I was made to go to my room to eat by the male night staff member very rudely. The room was ok but very loud when surrounding guests used the facilities in the bathroom. Basic and clean but wouldn’t stay again. "

"First impressions are everything and the lovely staff gave us a very warm welcome complete with a glass of port, as well as a tour of the property upon arrival. The spa was very clean and zen, and our panarama suite had a lovely Mountain View. We dined in Fatiga, the restaurant on property and it was fantastic!! The food, service and ambiance were perfection!"

"Room & entire premises extremely cold. Central radiators were off. She turned on the AC in the room and set it to cool to 73ºF, but the room was in the 50's. I figured out how to reset it and left for dinner. We returned to no electricity. We had to negotiate a candle. Room was extremely small, only 2 ft on each side of a double bed, which was lumpy. No place for suitcases. She suggested we open them in the car and take in what we needed. Bathroom was clean, but small with no room to put anything. Breakfast was ok, but nothing special."
